#Hartelpark in #Spijkenisse consists of two parts: Hartel-West Midden and Hartel-Oost. Located on the northern border of Spijkenisse, Hartelpark is an urban environmental park and creates a green buffer between the residential area and the industrial area of De Botlek. Hartel Oost is a forested park with many planted trees and shrubs.
It is possible to see small mammals such as hedgehogs during the walk or bats when it gets dark. It is also possible to hear and see the sound of the green woodpecker. The special kingfisher is also a resident of this park.
