I have been troubled by how we as Catholics do not take care of fellow Catholics. If you are an employer, hire someone from your parish. If you hear of a good job, tell your friends at church. Economics are destroying the family. If we take care of some of the temporal difficulties, we can keep our parishes together. I had to leave my parish of 50 years because there were no jobs in the area. Now I am in a Catholic dead zone. It is sad.
Are you an old man? I have driven 1 hour in one direction for years to arrive at a parish away from my home. Are you capable? Are you willing?
You are so right! I live in Utah where there’s a large Mormon population and they take care of their members. If someone’s sick they bring food and they have many people caring for them. I don’t see this in the Catholic parishes here. In the 50s, the church was the center of our lives but not so anymore.
@@rosemariekury9186 not so Rosemary. Not so. I have testimony that says The Mormons do not take care of their own.
I feel like I'm living a very similar life. I'm sorry for your losses, and I know it doesn't help much, but if misery loves company, you're not alone. Pray, hope, and trust you will come through this if you do not give up your faith. God bless you.
I would say perversion of economics is to blame but the point is valid.
The School of Salamanca, a bastian of Catholic thought, helped create economics particularly the forerunner of capitalism.
Gratitude and trust will get us there as always. God is with us now and always until the end of time
What perfect timing 🎶❤️🙏🏻✝️
I just saw this video and the timing was great as I feel a bit discouraged about our world. I ordered the book and look forward to reading it! Thank you, gentlemen! Fr. Mike Schmitz always lifts me up!
If you're feeling discouraged about the world, look to Medjugorje. It is the example for how the rest of the world aught to be.
Ouch! Just what I needed! And I was just praying on this this morning. Thank you!!!!
Yes! We can do what we can with what we have. I do hope the book comes to Audible. It sounds amazing
We can do it One Holy Moment at a time ☝️🙏
The choice is ours 🙏
Viva Cristo Rey
..amen. He will go before us; he will be with us. do not be afraid..
I will always embrace my calling.
Everything and Every Time for God is right .. Now...
Also remember in more recent history that our Grandparents lived through WW1, The Great Depression, WW2, The Cold War, Vietnam, Cuban Missal Crisis. not to mention the various diseases.... and more... My Grandparents lived in to their late 80s and 90's... and they had faith...
Every era has hardship... I am shamed to say.. I thought we'd be fine too... lol but you know... the trouble stirring now, is only doing one thing for me... Making me look at God with all my might LOL.
It only matters if you are on God's side... He's already won... lets let our faith be fueled with Trust, Hope and Love for Him and our Heavenly Mother!!
Who is like God?... No one.
Viva Cristo Rey!
It’s a culture war 😢💔
And it’s difficult 😢
I would really like to hear a talk or a series of videos on those of us with SSA who are striving to live a celibate and chaste life as Holy Mother Church teaches us to do. I struggle to find resources that speak on this, its a lot of thumbing through materials/timestamps. Its exhausting 😅
As someone who is in the fight for chastity as an unmarried woman, I just want to cheer you on for your courage and strength. When I feel disheartened or frustrated in this area, it helps me to remember that we all have to work toward having an integrated and pure sexuality. It isn’t easy. God bless you.
Excellent video!!!
I think the day is coming, or is here now, that everyone who bows their knees to The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit must unite as one. We seriously need each other: Catholic, Protestant, and Messianic. ❤✝️🙏
As a faithful Catholic, I am praying for the holy conversion of everyone outside of the Catholic Church. ✝️🙏
@@peace-and-quiet i commend you. you have given the truest answer: Conversion to The Catholic Church.
The 'One For Israel' Messianic Jew group is explicitly Anti-Catholic. I watched one of their seminars here on CZcams. They bashed us.
@@peace-and-quiet, Ah, like Jesus’s prayer as recorded in the Gospel of John, chapter 17? Or, are you basing that prayer on Colossians chapter 3??? I guess maybe we as Believers should pray that many will encounter God and His Spirit through His Son, Jesus.
Abandonment to Divine providence!
We don't have the same job or responsibilities. It's simple as this.
I do need help to get into an order so I can serve God as he deserves….
We are living in a post-Christian Era. It isn't easy to be a Catholic in these times. The hardest part is we are mostly politely ignored and constantly bombarded with ideas and beliefs that go against our own convictions. There's a constant erosion of Christianity going on like waves hitting the beach and I don't see anything going on to stop this. The true Christian life is becoming rare to the point of extinction by the force of general indifference and coldness towards God and Christ. If you live as a devoted Catholic they consider you a "fanatic". I think only a direct intervention of God will change this widespread tendency.
I overheard someone speaking about “those super-strict Catholics who think they have to do everything the Church teaches.” And I thought, “In other words: Catholics.” And then I thought that the faith offers such joy and peace that if it were easy, everyone would do it, but Christ told us the way would be narrow.

You know you can live apart ... there are various churches-Anabaptists that do separate. It’s important to realize what your getting into... there’s a creeping drug use problem into the plain churches. But if you have strong boundaries the plain churches are for you
Sure. See him m there. Basically how everything happens. See him there.
"From Christianity to neo-paganism in 10 years 1960-1970 life in the USA"
In reality, it has its roots far longer ago.
Sure, they handed out a dohnut or sweets shaped illness to them and schooled them specially,
Like your going to be luckier, they're unaware,
I don't believe in time
talks way too fast...
It almost sounds sped up.
Nope not really @garystewart9211
