Yes the Human Rights Act stipulates that necessary state laws can over rule the act for certain reasons but it's about the Govt not stretching that, some of those exceptions are necessary.. The problem is the internet and mass communication that's enabled so much opinion and chatter to be shared when it's normal Human nature that some people will be offensive. Gone are the days of reading a newspaper and your only option was to write a letter to the editor who might print it. We now have more means to communicate but less freedom to speak our minds.
