  • Follow us through the busy streets of Varanasi. A magical and holy place indeed, full of culture and food to try. We might have gone a bit overboard with trying everything and ended up with food poisoning. Oh well.. when in India!
    Cheers

      @L&P tv One good remedy is salted buttermilk. It's bit acquired taste and may not please your palate as much as sweet lassi but it gives relief from tummy cramps. Amul buttermilk is available with almost all general stores.
      Another remedy is bit awkward but gives instant relief from runny motions. Take 1 tsf of black tea leaves. Simply swallow it with 1 tsf sugar and a glass of water.
      Third one is ayurvedic mint pills known as Pudin hara. It has no side effects. Keep them 3-4 of them with you always. Available with most chemists.
      Fourth one (if there are uncontrolled watery motions as condition may quickly lead to dehydration ) is a qualified general practice doctor having atleast MBBS degree. Beware of quacks. Don't take modern medicine without consultation.

      @artmuse9613 Pƙed rokem +1

In Our state we go to cook and take best ingredients (More importantly "Desi Ghee") for frying and pay him to make jalebi for us and we take them home to eat.
