Brewery life welcomes back brewers that brew beer. Beer education and entertainment content for master brewers to homebrewers. Contact brewerylife@gmail.com. Cheers!
I'm just about finished going through every video on your channel, and I wanted to thank you so much for posting all this content. I'm a home brewer of many years who's always dreamed of going pro, and am just about to start my first job for a 10bbl brewery. While the chemistry between brewing 10 gallons in your garage and 10 bbl commercially is the same, there is so much about the process of brewing at a commercial scale that remained a mystery to me. All your explanations and walk-throughs have given me the head start I needed to speak competently and confidently as I attempt to transition from amateur to pro, and I've not found another resource quite like what you've offered here. I know the educational videos have slowed recently, but if you're looking for ideas for future videos, anything about glycol systems and how they work would be a huge help. Glycol for temperature control is the one part of commercial brewing that I know is important to understand, but have thus far had zero practical exposure to. Thanks again for all you do! It's folks like you who demonstrate a real desire to share their passion and help others learn that make me love the brewing industry. The beer is great, but so are the people. Cheers!
Glad to have you back! You definitely helped me start my small brewery! Your videos answer many questions. I will be looking forward to your next videos!
Hey Jasper, Woop! You're back, so stoked! I love your videos, always so informative with a positive vibe, trying to build version one of our brewery from second hand tanks here in New Zealand so I loved your video showing your original kit stored out the back! Congrats on the baby and good on you for taking some time off for that! Keep up the good work!
Jasper! Thanks for coming back dude, there's NO videos on youtube teaching on commercial stainless like you do. Still brewing on 200 liters pots but dreaming about going big while watching your videos, please keep 'em coming!
I was hired on to help a 5bbl brewpub. I was in the industry for 5 1/2 years before this and knew about 95% of the things you said. However you give a few small tips where I slap my head and went "why didn't I know this before!" PS: Great series, and can't wait to see more.
Jasper! Thrilled to have you back man. Your previous videos were a huge help as we planned our new 10 bbl taproom focused brewery in Houston, TX. True Anomaly Brewing Company. We literally have our first 4 beers in the fermenter and I'm about to drop my first cone and clean my first carb stone after watching your videos on those subjects to jog my memory on how to do it right! Pumped you're putting out more content and I'll be watching them all for sure. If you're ever in Houston look us up and come visit! Congrats on the wife and son too, awesome stuff.... Cheers!
Congratulations on the marriage and kid! I am about to start on as the brewmaster at a new brewery in North Vancouver. So excited, and your video's are a great source of learning! I am glad your back to help us all brew the best we can!
Hey Jasper. Welcome back also from Germany! We have started a small nano brewery in the 2 bbl size and I also educated myself a lot using your videos. So thanks for what you already delivered. Frank
Good to have you back Jasper! Our brewery, Shapeshifter Brewing Co has launched while you were away. Thanks for the awesome content, cheers from Australia!
Awesome to see your back on CZcams. Congratulations on the family life! Hopefully this is the year to get up and running(2.5 BBL Nano). Not sure home much interest there is in BROP's(demystified) , software advised or old school manual record keeping, Pay.gov, etc.. I would assume most keeping an eye on your channel have aspirations of being more than a homebrewer. Thanks for all your generous information that you have donated freely!
about a year and a half ago I got involved in a 10bbl brewery after homebrewing for 8 years. I found your videos almost immediately & they have help so much! Good to see you back again & congrats on all the great things that have happen since we've seen you last!
Yes you made my day! :-) started a brewery with friends in switzerland for organic beers! your channel helped so much! wish you all the best for brewery & family!
So awesome to see you back making these videos, Jasper! Much like a lot of the people watching and commenting, I've been working on starting a brewery and have found your videos to be an invaluable resource. Can't wait to see more. Congrats on the marriage and new baby!! And thanks for doing what you do!
Hey Jasper. Thanks for all the info videos. I just got my building and will hopefully be up by April. Could not have done the fine details without your informative videos. Thanks for the help and good luck with the little one. Cheers!
Great to have you back and congratulations to you and your family on the little one! I can't thank you enough for your great work on these videos. In the last year and a half, I too got married, had a son and even secured my first cellar position in a commercial brewery. These videos significantly reduced the learning curve as I made the transition from home brewer to cellarman. If you ever find yourself in Duluth, MN I'd be more than eager to send you home with some beer! Cheers!
Good to see you back. You videos were incredibly helpful for both me and the head brewer here at Halpatter Brewing company here in N Florida when we opened last year. Cheers!
Hey welcome back, Started Steamworks Meadery in Oregon and your vids have been very useful. Not doing beer some of the things where more interesting then helpful but your CIP and transfer vids where great help.
Welcome Back!!! Thanks for all your help with Commercial Brewing. I watched your shows over and over to learn anything i could about commercial brewing. We opened a brewery here in Beaufort N.C. in May of 2018 (FISHTOWNE BREW HOUSE), a 3BBL pub system with 4- 7BBL FVs and a 7BBL brite tank. We keep 12 Beers on tap and rotate through beer styles and flavors. You made jumping from home brewing to a commercial system feel comfortable ! Thanks again for all the time and effort you put into your videos. I look forward to seeing more !!
Hey man! Been watching a ton of your videos while working on starting up my own brewery in Denmark - Bad Seed Brewing. Began production in October 2018 after having worked for about 6 months on getting everything up and running. Thanks for your videos, it's been a great resource!
After a few videos I decided to subscribe... By the time I got to the end of your videos I was like "Great I just subbed to a dead channel".. Im glad to see you're back and everything is going well with your personal life...
Welcome back and congratulations. I am in the process of setting up a 3HL microbrewery in Northern Ireland. Your videos have been a great source for me that I keep coming back to and I look forward to the new content. Cheers.
I am a 100% legal brewery as of two weeks ago. Awaiting a 2BBL brewery and a 3.5BBL uni-tank. About 5 weeks for the brewhouse and 1 week for the uni. I love your videos. Maybe you can do a video about any tips or processes on state and TTB reporting.
Hi Jasper, greetings from sunny Guatemala. Still going through your educational videos, but learning a lot. Craft brewing is just getting started here so we are still at the forefront. Right now building the business plan and designing and sizing the brewery. I may write a longer note via email and ask for some pointer. Glad to see you back on video and congrats on the new and growing family. Cheers!
Welcome back! Love your videos. If I was suggesting topics they would be: Keg Washing, Glycol system set up, tap room tips, merch tips, software/system tips... but so far I've eaten up just about any topic you covered so really keep up whatever it is you choose to do!
Glad you're back. I love the how to stuff. No one else shows that detail on the level you are at volume wise. I think much greater detail of carbonation and kegging would help me a ton. I am a cider maker who just started selling my cider and am wanting to get better with my carbonation process.
Hey Jasper, congratulations! Wish you all the best! Looking forward to watch your upcoming content. I work at a brewing school located in Santa Catarina, Brazil. Name is Escola Superior de Cerveja e Malte. As you know, your videos always brings valuable information for brewers. Keep it up, man! Cheers!

Would love to see a Neipa from start to finish. How you dry hop, collect or dump yeast, double dry hop, rouse hops, reduce oxidisation etc. I have a 14g unitank at home and have been trying to implement some of your processes to improve my beers and really enjoy trying to mimic them on a homebrew scale. Cheers.
