I didn't think I'd be interested in an article about hot-rods and their birth, as they're not the go-to hot beverage to be found on my tea-shelf. However, I found this to be an absolutely absorbing video and enjoyed the interaction between yourself and Jimmy, being an equally personable chap. Ben was wonderfully knowledgeable too. It made me wonder what the guys could envisage with my Alfa 156. Who knew?! Thanks, Mr. FD!

I really enjoyed this video. Hot rods may not be everybody's cup of tea but it is great you are given the scene some exposure. I enjoy original classics and customs/rods in equal measure .
Your Rover V8 needs to go there for some finishing touches! Like a couple of side pipes 😄🤘🏼
If I had them build me something it would have to be a straight 8 with 8 side pipes!

Pleased to see that the PV is close to being finished. The owner has had it since 1976 and it's gone through many changes since then. Colour - Ford Roman Bronze metallic with added gold fine flake. Looking good Roger.

Love the Viper engined Interceptor as I do the car that donated it,the Viper.I can,t stop thinking that there is a Humber Super Snipe somewhere with one of these fitted? Have you come across the Icon Derelict Rolls Silver Shadow with Chevvy LS7 fitted,custom chassis but original patina;its on youtube.I love the idea of this & especially the thought of all the purists collectively giving birth!!

How much for the baby Buick just had my 8th grand child. 4 boys now for my daughter. And 2xboys and 2xgirls for my eldest son. Jimmy your a legend. Running the 33 out side the ace cafe. Friend of mine took his ‘57 Chevy there to have it sorted after another shop messed the resto mod up. Great shop this with lots of interesting memorabilia
Great video and superb craftsmanship the colour on the Volvo is Ford Roman Bronze had it on my Mk1 escort 1300 sport,great colour.
Yes that's the colour but it has had some gold fine flake added.

Hot rods are not usually my thing but I did like that Volvo. I suppose UK laws prohibit the more radical stuff like the Ford Model A with no mudguards.

Had to skip this one, prefer cars as they left the factory, minor period upgrades permitted but no major mods or rearranged styling.
