Yeah but the christmas special was a really good ending and it felt like all the conflicts were solved, so it's okay. I would be to afraid of just trouble for having trouble in the storyline. It would be interesting to see a season with Max have this abilty to, but now after he lost it, it doesn't really makes sense
I'm a HUGE fan of the show. But also loved the Christmas Movie. NBC is SO going to regret cancelling. Roku did a smart thing and I really hope that the show is going to get a Season 3 !! And I thought about S3 and had an idea : How about introducing an actual Antagonist. You know, someone us the viewers really dislike maybe even HATE. Because I fell like so far the show didn't have a "villian" so to say. And what if that person over hears Zoey talking to Mo or / and Max (on the phone) about the powers. But she doesn't talk about the powers specifically, but her big secret in general. So the Antagonist finds out that Zoey has a big secret and is dead set on finding out what it is (to use it against her?) But it could be a bad idea, I don't know. My mind just went down that road. ps. really like how in Home Sweet Home, the elevator is kind of a symbol or methaphor for an awesome happy christmas with the family at home. And while everyone is in the elevator, Zoey can't enter. Also shows Zoey being and felling apart from her family.
Charlie was a bit of a villain, he didn't sing any musical numbers though. I'm torn because villain songs are some of the best numbers but I like how the show deals with real issues and shows how people like Leif are maybe mean on the outside but actually hurting on the inside.
@@sarahberkner Also, let's just be real here, a villain is so totally not needed in the character lineup. it's a slice of life show about Zoey and the people in her life going through the occasional problems. A villain isn't required to excel the engagement already in the series. They could however do something interesting with Ava's presence, seeing as she was kind of antagonistic in that one episode.
@@octavianjoseph8633 Agreed, except from a musical standpoint I was thinking it might open up more song choices. I'm not a dark person but I'm kind of a sucker for songs like Defying Gravity (only kind of a villain song) and Music of the Night.
I miss so much Zoey's extraordinary Playlist I can't believe Noone took interest in continuing with the show with the perfect plot for a musical and they decided not to go on with it 🥲
You're back!! I adore ZEP for character stuff, great storylines, etc... but the music is just hands down the best. Love your choices...although I would definitely have to include zoey's Crazy from way back in s1 :) We believe in you ROKU
I don't know why in every top this Simon's song get number 1. I would place Anyone or Numb by Max there 💖 Or any of Mitch's songs like true colors or I lived 💔 I cried so hard
Black Man In A White World gets number 1 in so many rankings because it’s a phenomenal number and because John Clarence Stewart’s performance is such a raw portrayal of Simon’s experience as a Black man in an overwhelmingly white space at SPRQ Point. his vocals match the anxiety of the number, as does the choreography. it’s a fantastic piece. consider that.
