- Hry
He's more scarier this way
Not scary at all lmao 😂 😂😂
Which way?
@@Detroit-M313 lol
The difference: in definitive edition the crash is actually Morelloʼs fault
Well joey wasn’t paying attention and got distracted although morello really should have stopped instead of crashing into him so he did definitely did it intentionally and since he knew joey he was probably gonna kill him either way
Morello seems to be more scarier, violent and has more screen-time than his original.
Which I really enjoy! He’s actually one of my favorite characters because of it, kinda wish they’ll make a dlc or some kinda expansion that you play as morello while at end when you kill peppone and takeover the city and establish your own rackets, bribe people in power and become the biggest boss in the city
Right
@@Godfather9814 that could work as a prequel dlc that leads into the main game imo
@@lmaoo1107 i think it would be awesome or maybe do it for Salieri too, be like Mafia meets some aspects of GTA
But of course.
Fun fact: Don Morello (2002) also voices Caesar from Fallout New Vegas.
And played Carmine Falcone in Gotham
I know he sounds familiar
I knew it! I was right
Whaaat, the mafia series and the fallout series are my favourite, how couldn't i notice this
who agrees to see mafia prequel game than mafia IV? set between world war 1 to 1921 until the death of don peppone? where salieri & morello were still best friend, frank & sergio worked together. with the ending almost similar to RDR2 between john marston & dutch. it would be cool to see salieri & morello as protagonists just like evie & jacob frye in assassin's creed syndicate.
It's a cool idea, but it wouldn't work. No music of relevance, few cars and no machine guns at all. Peppone died in 1920, the mafia was still a few gangs and the Black Hand in the US. I would love a game set in Sicily in a period between 1920/1950's though. The countryside and culture, and playing to see the roots of many famous mobsters is awesome! But Mafia 4 will probably be 1970's Vegas
Nice idea! But it would be better if that idea went to a new dlc for mafia definitive edition than a full game. Mafia 4 is better set in a city like las vegas in the 70s / 80s
@@Jason-zn4mr it won't be better if it's grindy like mafia 3
@the Russian lone wanderer You're right. I would love a Mafia game in Sicily/Naples, since part of my family comes from there. But he didn't mention that. And let's be honest, most people wouldn't be interested in a rural/19th century mafia game unless it was really AAA
@@rmcgowa1987 it wasn’t grindy
1:58 my dad when i hold the flash light wrong while he fixes the car
Underrated
Dutch u r still alive!?
Nice detail with the cops in the background, they were like "nope". One even started crying as he walked off
@Your DadWell you can clearly see he's making the actions of someone who's crying lol
@@Chris-vn2nf He's smoking or wiping his mouth. Why would he cry over some local boxer nobody??It doesn't seem like the first time Morello has done something like that too
He was holding his mouth that was gruesome
Because they were paid off by Morello.
Thats cringe af detail
The difference between the two is night and day. The new Morello alone makes this game worth the forty bucks
i preordered mine for like $5, i changed my steam region lol
@@minds777 lol why you change your steam Region in the first place
@@teukufadel8293 different countries = different currency
I'll wait about a year until the game is half off. From what I see the game is shorter than the other games but more expensive especially for a remake.
Ad victoriam
The calm is way more intimidating
When they showed Sergio Morello at the funeral scene, it gave me the "oh this one wont be simple to kill" vibe.. turned out to be right, he was hard to kill.
2002 - dude crushes into morello
2020 - morello crushes into dude and it doesnt even seem like an accident XD
Original: Hilarious eccentric Don
Remake: Ruthless Don
In the remake it was morellos fault
Definitive made everything way better.
True
Worst
John Smith did we play the same game? it’s so 🔥
@@johnyboy9102 damn john ur on every video shitting on this game, ik u grew up with the OG Mafia and most Remasteres don't do the original justice but u gotta accept it, this one did the original justice, some might say this is even better. Hope ur done with ur 5 stages of grief soon, be well.
Not really, original mafia is a masterpiece. This remake is really well done and respects a lot of things from the original, but others like movement and difficulty went missing, along with some cutscenes that i still think are better than the new ones.
Definitive may just be the game of the decade
The decade just started 😂😂😂
its no even better than the original lmao
B of Beef another un appreciative lousy dumbass the game is really good
Nah I mean the story and the game are really good and I really enjoy playing it but the decade just started so let’s see what’s coming next
Don't force it
in the first one he sounds like that "ARE YOU CRAZY, ARE YOU OUTTA YOUR MIND" guy
I wonder how Salieri would have reacted in such a situation.
The Original version of Morello has always reminded me of Paulie Sindacco from GTA Liberty City Stories because both wear white suits and both are rarely seen in public, Paulie in GTA was actually known as "The Invisible Don" because of this
It would be cool if they made a Mafia one game but it's from Morello's perspective.
The definitive edition is far better espacily in his introduction he dosen't scream or insult joey he is quiet and composed which makes him scarrier
I love the little run animation after they decide to go after Morello on foot
I started playing mafia (D.E) for the first time today I literally can’t decide which scene between mafia and mafia D.E is better Im not gonna lie but the original seeing it for the first time made me laugh especially that kick at the end just seemed comical to me 😂 dope but funny as hell the D.E version seemed more sinister especially with Morello caving that guys head in with the tire iron 😱 both versions of this scenes are good in there own way 🔥
For me the both are great the original and remake in the original they have the thenology back in years 2000 and the sad part its not the same voice actor cast in the original was other actor in the remake its other voice actor and its really sad they changed the all team and for Salieri Voice the actor in play in 2002 he pass in 2010 and for the remake version they say was really hard to find a voice actor for Salieri and doesnt even show for the game like in other games in love memory of the actor i dont know why or maybe the family voice actor doesnt want he name to appear in remake and they changed lots of voice actors from the original but they did a great job but for me in my hear the original still the best
How come he beats that guy to a pulp and yet no blood appears on his lovely white suit?
Kiryu Kazuma 2.0. Guess he gotta beat Morello too. Gotta go back to 1930 so he can beat the shit outta him. And leave Tommy to finish him off.
ortiginal or remake he's head still have Cave in it and nobody bat an eye
I wish there were more than 20 missions in this game it just seems so damn rushed...
Well in Definitive Edition, during the crash the cars' positions are now reversed.
Everybody saying the definitive edition is better Yes because it is a Remake almost 20 years newer but for me who played Mafia long long time ago still will be MAFIA from 00s better
What's really getting me is that many here seem to dump on the original for no purpose. You don't like old games okay, that's your problem, not mine.
That’s nostalgia bias.
Remake is so much better
Salieri & morello prequel🎭💯.
Leogalante and frankvinci prequel⏳💯.
Original for me is far better he seems more like a don he travels with body guards when he kills the guy it's very public and personal remake seems more like a two bit thug
I prefer the remake, but that's my opinion
Would be extra stupid to go out without your 'gorillas' if you were a mafia boss..
Honestly, dude, this is the reason why he gangsters like Morello. I hate all gangsters because these people never listen to reason those want their sides taken no one else’s.
original morello: smashing heads on cars.
new one: yeeting chairs.
what
In the original the don is hitting the car but it's reversed in the definitive edition
Morello looks like Romney.
Look like al pacino from irishman
As much as I enjoyed DE. The "I was driving slow", "you saying it was my fault" bit no longer makes sense lol.
Waarom rent die vent niet weg?
This makes no since though I was driving real slow he was stoped
i thought kutt said he hit morrello as in with his fist oh my bad
Best ps2
I honestly prefer the original version of that car crash. The new version never made sense to me lol
That's because the new morello doesn't seem like a don a don would rarely do things himself he would leave it to his underlings and they would never travel by themselves that's just asking to be murdered
@@rmcgowa1987 That's the point. Morello is too powerful he feels invincible. He travels alone and he murders someone in broad daylight in front of the cops and it wasn't even the poor guy's fault.
@@DoctorDeath147 You also haven't read my previous message. Back in those times even if a don was this powerful they would not travel by themselves. Their enemies don't care how tough and scary they are they will take every opportunity to destroy them. Some don's were stupid or arrogant enough to travel by themselves in those times. But they were murdered it's a well known fact. This is not very realistic and it's not very good story telling I'm just glad that they followed through on how stupid Morello was to travel alone as this is why he is killed in the game.
@@rmcgowa1987 Again that's the point. Morello is arrogant and stupid. They were trying to depict that here, to contrast him with Salieri.
@@DoctorDeath147 I liked the original better he was more like a Don I also didn't like the changes they did to Salieri in the original he says it's cigars but it's diamonds in this he says he will never deal in drugs but it's drugs Salieri never said he would deal in diamonds in the original this new Salieri is a hypocrite the old one was not
he's definitely a pathetic validation seeker in the first version
what
why was all 3 bosses called don in mafia 1
(in Spanish-speaking countries) a lord or gentleman. (initial capital letter) an Italian title of address, especially for a priest. a person of great importance. (in the English universities) a head, fellow, or tutor of a college. (in the Mafia) a head of a family or syndicate.
I hope this clears it all
'Cause it's a title, not a name.
The remake doesn't make sense. It's Morello's fault and the dialogue doesn't even match the video: Joey says he was driving slowly like him being the one that crashed into Morello, but his car wasn't even moving. It's like they used the scenes from the first to write the dialogue then made the new scene.
When he saw it was morello that hit him he didn't want to say it was morello's fault cause he didn't want to get hurt. Didn't help him of course, but still. He was scared.
People who didn't even know that the first mafia existed are saying that it's cringy after they saw this remake. They probably haven't completed the original.
Of course not its just their first impression theres nothing wrong with voicing your opinion after seeing something for the first time
I think 10 years from now everybody will cringe at the Mafia 3 type of dialogue in the Mafia 1 d.e
Agreed. That’s kinda hilarious actually
Vamshi Parker25 Completed or not, the original game had some crinkly elements. I completed it and think it was pretty crinkly sometimes. If anything, playing the game through world prove their point about it being cringeworthy even more!
I played the OG Mafia 1 and it was cringe. One of the worst voice acting in gaming history.
I think the original version is better. Morello is just completely insane and illogical in the remake. At least I’m the original there’s a degree of logic to his overreaction.
Shame that hardly anyone in the comment section can see this. The OG Morello was a classic mafia villain, not the Godfather level, naturally, but he was good for the story he was in. The new Morello is just another psychopath who ends people just because he's crazy. I've asked this question before, and I'll ask again: why do we have to have psychos in every single game/film/book?
You guys are seriously grasping straws. He’s a psychopath in both versions. His reaction in the old version though is over the top and cartoon level. In the new version he’s seemingly calm and you can’t exactly read what’s he’s thinking making him even more scary.
#curfewformen
wish the would have done a remaster with same music, voice actors but just better graphics instead.
Lol.
Original voice actors were trash
I love the definitive edition but it would be cool af to be able to play the original Mafia with updated controls and shit like the gta definitive edition, only the Mafia one probably wouldn’t suck ass
Original was more realistic
Let it go man
I mean both are pretty realistic if you think about it. Only thing is Morello riding alone in the Definitive. Still pretty good game
You gotta stop letting the nostalgia blind you man
Not really, Original feels like he is just blind with rage, yes he is like that, but the way original does it seems sometimes more comical.
Sometimes These nostalgic fanbois are just..ugh
