Fun fact: Dreamcatcher was the only Kpop group who was invited to perform at Primavera in Spain, one of the largest rock festivals (in the world?). They received the invitation last minute and they were performing in Germany, so the timing wasn't great and they wouldn't make it. HOWEVER, the organizers of the festival sent a PRIVATE JET to pick them up from Germany and fly them to Spain, and this thing was never done before. People were so excited to see them at the festival, and they began their performances with the iconic line "Welcome to your nightmare, Primavera".
thats not what happened, it was planned almost a year in advance and the problem was that the company always sends dc to their abroad schedules last minute. there were lots of storms in europe at the time and they got stuck in germany thats when primavera sent a private jet but their attendance was announced almost a year before the festival so it wasnt really last minute
Fan attractor Dami strikes again! I had been following them since debut. But I would say I fully dove in last year! Their discography is amazing with a WIDE range of genres and styles. You'll NEVER get bored with them and you'll NEVER know what to expect. Also they are HEAVY with lore. They have had FOUR storylines. What you just watched was the last part of a two-part story called Versus. I don't know how quickly you wanna jump into a guide, but when you do, I recommend 'An Extensive Guide to Dreamcatcher 2023'. You'll love their personalities and bond.

I met Dreamcatcher on february 2017, because they showed a video in which they were listening to babymetal, so I went to check them out. At the time they only had one song (chase me) and I liked them a lot. About 2 weeks later I get notification that they had released a new video (good night). 15 seconds in I knew I was in for the long run. We did not have a name then, but I was already an InSomnia.

Welcome to the Dreamworld. As our leader JiU has said "Dreamcatcher is a black hole, once you get sucked in, you can't escape." Their entire discography is some of the best out there in the K-Pop industry, at least imho. There is 7 members of Dreamcatcher; JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami, and Gahyeon. All are so talented that they can fit into any position in terms of being a group, vocalists, dancers, etc. I highly recommend going down this rabbit hole, as I've been around since they debuted back in 2017 and I have never once regretted it. Their music varies from rock being their main sound for title tracks, to their B-sides being so diverse, ranging from ballads, rock anthems, EDM, reggae, jazz, R&B, the list goes on. Sadly, Siyeon is having to sit out on the promotions for this comeback because of health issues and anxiety, so we are doing everything we can to get them a win with JUSTICE, to reward the hard-work that both the members and staff of DCC have put in to give us such amazing music over the years. 👑🙌

Ult group for me. They kept me sane during the covid years. I feel like DC is like a cheatcode for me in kpop. I love rock, anime, and fantasy, somehowww, DC encompasses all that and more. It's always so wonderful to see reactions from people who don't know as much about the group. They always come away with at the least an appreciation for what they hear, or at most falling down the rabbit hole that is this group and before long they become a new InSomnia. Their live vocals are really not much different from the studio version and to this day this still sing live as much as possible-something that doesn't happen much in Kpop anymore. This song was the end of a two part story. The lyrics depict them as heroes who have come to save the world, so to speak. It's probably why Justice ended up sounding so epic and cinematic. If you're panicking now, you are really in for it, friend. Gay panic is a very common condition among this fandom. It will only get worse from here should you go on, lol. I'd recommend listening to the entire album if you get the chance-Stomp is just as gut punching. Oh, and then there's 2 Rings. They did a stage for that B side, along with fancams for each member. It's all on their official YT channel. I think you might need to take a sedative beforehand, but you're welcome.

Should you want to get to know the members individually, there is a channel on YT-insomniscy. This person keeps a very close eye on their career as a group and has individual 'This is' videos for each member. You may be leaning towards one member as a bias but I've seen it change before as fans have gotten to really know the group. Good luck. Dreamcatcher is the best girl group, they are just underrated. It is hard to recommend a song to react to because all of them are just so good. Their music videos are stunning, their B sides are just as good and they are the queens of covers. I recomand you to just start from the debud song in cronological order. You will love every single one of their song.
This song is part of a two part parallel worlds series. The first part was OOTD. I am a second gen fan (Girls Generation and 2NE1). But Dreamcatcher is special. They will never be as popular as groups like Twice and Blackpink, but they should be!

Funny that you mentioned One Ok Rock! I love them too and only found them through a recommendation that Dreamcatcher member "Siyeon" made in one of their vlog videos! Siyeon is the main vocalist and person who sang the high note in the background at 6:17. Edit: I've been an InSomnia since debut! I came across their debut live stage and have been in love since then! They were the first group that made me buy a physical album, my first k-pop group concert I attended and the first group I bought merch from (lightstick, MDs, you name it!)

I've always been a rock/metal head, especially from Japan. Even Siyeon and Jiu, fans of one ok rock and babymetal respectively. Also fun fact, Siyeon used to be a vocalist of a rock band during her school years. So, you can look out for the techniques she uses when she belts high notes, you can hear the rock-ish vibe. Even in Justice too. React to the Dancear version by 1theK. In fact listen to all the members' vocals.. And the always sing live in all their performances right from Debut till now

Dreamcatcher is really that #1 group (among so many other talented groups). Dreamcatcher got a lot of songs (and no bad songs no joke...). You should start reacting from their debut song and go through that journey, it will blown your mind (and ears xD).
You got taken aback by Dami, the youngest and normally their rapper, but she sang with her sexy gravelly voice. SIYEON, purple hair is one of rock DIVAS. Unfortunately, she's on hiatus getting her mental health in order (and I'm sorry if my diagnosis is off). But come back strong and slay, SIYEON!!!

I've been a K-Pop fan since 2019, and I found Dreamcatcher very early on in my K-Pop journey. They are very J-Rock and J-Metal inspired. Dami is the one that kept catching your eye, and she is lethal!!! I think you will LOVE everything from this group!! And Siyeon (Pronounced Shi-yawn) was the one that did that ridiculously high note. Sorry for the looooong read 😂😂 I became a fan of Dreamcatcher since their song "Maison" came out (part of their apocalypse trilogy, first part) Quickly, the one who sang that high note at the end is the main vocalist wolfie Siyeon (one with purple hair) First one to sing, Leader Rabbit JiU (lead vocalist, who is also a main vocalist) The first one to open up the build-up "We build the barrier" is SuA (birdy, crow-tit) (main dancer, lead rapper, sub vocalist who is also a main vocalist) -one with blonde hair with the arrows is the maknae Foxy Gahyeon (lead vocalist, lead rapper) -rapper is Panda Dami (main rapper, sub vocallist but also lead vocalist) -one with angel wings, Cat Handong (chinese member, lead vocalist also main vocalist) -orange hair is Puppy Yoohyeon (lead vocalist also main) -and as mentioned above, purple hair is Wolfie Siyeon (main vocalist, who is currently not participating in this promotion due to dealing with health and anxiety issues, and we are all praying for her to get her well deserved rest to come back healthy) And as you have noticed, i put animals in front of their names, those are the animals that each member represents. Another unique thing about them, is that in pretty much all their songs, they dont sing about love or anything like other groups do, a lot of the topics they sing about are about real world issues. Dreamcatcher actually did Deja vu for a video gane called Kings Raid that was later adapted into an anime and thye sing the i tro for the anime the song is called Eclipse, highly recommend ✨️ They also have a bunch of Japanese b-sides aswell
The insane ad libs you heard are from Siyeon 🐺. She's the Main Vocalist of Dreamcatcher. Siyeon's voice is incredible and she specializes in insane adlibs like this. In reality, she's one of the best vocalists in K-Pop right now. Although she's in the MV, she's actually on hiatus during the comeback promotion, for health reasons. However, the other 6 members are really good vocalists also, who had to cover for Siyeon, did it with flying colors. The most notable is SuA 🐥, who's the group's Main Dancer. She has recovered from vocal cord nodules a few years ago and she's getting better with every comeback. The rest got better and better over the years and the results are songs like Justice, Fireflies, 2 Rings or STΦMP (from this album).
I found Dreamcatcher just before the pandemic hit, around February 2020. "Scream" was the sng that made me notice them although I had heard snippets of "Deja Vu" and a few others before then. When they did their self-made video for "Sahara," I knew this was the group for me. As fierce as they look in "Justice," they are just as lovable goofy in their self-made vids. I would also recommend starting from the beginning with Chase Me. Their music can be divided into eras. The Nightmare series are the first six Korean albums (title tracks are "Chase Me," "Good Night," "Fly High" which is a prequel to "Chase Me," "You and I," "What," and "Piri.") The Dystopia series has "Scream," "Boca," and "Odd Eye." The Apocalypse series has "Maison," "Vision," and "Bon Voyage." Then you have the Versus series with "OOTD" and "Justice." There are some stand-alone videos as well. "Deja Vu" and "R.o.S.E Blue" are game collab videos. "BEcause" is from the summer album. "Reason" is their latest song dedicated to the fans. The B-sides are comprised of many different genres and there are also Japanese-language releases.

So, you love j-rock huh? Well, you found the perfect group. When Dreamcatcher started they were heavily influenced by j-rock, which was sort of a risky move because rock was not popular in South Korea. I think you're really going to enjoy their earlier stuff. As others have suggested, I think the best place for you to start is right at the beginning. It's also a good idea to follow their MV's in release order because, with a couple exceptions, Dreamcatcher's title tracks / MV's tend to tell an extended story or follow a common theme. Their first 6 releases tell a dark story about how a group of boarding school girls were cursed and turned into Nightmares. One of InSomnia's favorite pastimes is deciphering their music videos and coming up with theories about what the story / message is behind the MV. Also, if you want to learn names and faces, the absolute best way to do that would be to watch the This is... series of videos (This is JiU, This is SuA, etc) created by Insomnicsy. Each video is dedicated to a single member which makes it easy to associate the name with the person highlighted in the video. Of course the other members will appear, but the primary focus will be that one member. You'll also learn about how funny, talented and humble these women are. Anyway, welcome to the black hole. The edition in this video is so amazing !!! Like, this is the best I've seen from DCC! I am seeing so many biblical references, which dates back to the album title! Support dancers are all in black, while girls have at least a little white in them (all except Yoohyun Mmmmmm). Your second chorus is surrounded everywhere by darkness, but it still fights. Darkness tries to master them, but they fight against her! "She is the knight that shines all over the world, she is the warrior who gives strength and courage to all parts of the world, she is the eternal legend that will be remembered in all parts of the world, she is the dreamy of dreams." . This was such a different MV for them! I didn't expect religious themes coming in it, but they razed. My only observation is that I wanted both MV and music to be more chaotic and intense the longer it lasted. This one is a dreamy of dreams. The divas are back ..❤👏👏👏

Fun fact: Dreamcatcher was the only Kpop group who was invited to perform at Primavera in Spain, one of the largest rock festivals (in the world?). They received the invitation last minute and they were performing in Germany, so the timing wasn't great and they wouldn't make it. HOWEVER, the organizers of the festival sent a PRIVATE JET to pick them up from Germany and fly them to Spain, and this thing was never done before. People were so excited to see them at the festival, and they began their performances with the iconic line "Welcome to your nightmare, Primavera".

I had been following them since debut. But I would say I fully dove in last year! Their discography is amazing with a WIDE range of genres and styles. You'll NEVER get bored with them and you'll NEVER know what to expect.
Also they are HEAVY with lore. They have had FOUR storylines. What you just watched was the last part of a two-part story called Versus.
I don't know how quickly you wanna jump into a guide, but when you do, I recommend 'An Extensive Guide to Dreamcatcher 2023'. You'll love their personalities and bond.

I met Dreamcatcher on february 2017, because they showed a video in which they were listening to babymetal, so I went to check them out. At the time they only had one song (chase me) and I liked them a lot. About 2 weeks later I get notification that they had released a new video (good night). 15 seconds in I knew I was in for the long run. We did not have a name then, but I was already an InSomnia.

Welcome to the Dreamworld. As our leader JiU has said "Dreamcatcher is a black hole, once you get sucked in, you can't escape." Their entire discography is some of the best out there in the K-Pop industry, at least imho. There is 7 members of Dreamcatcher; JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami, and Gahyeon. All are so talented that they can fit into any position in terms of being a group, vocalists, dancers, etc. I highly recommend going down this rabbit hole, as I've been around since they debuted back in 2017 and I have never once regretted it. Their music varies from rock being their main sound for title tracks, to their B-sides being so diverse, ranging from ballads, rock anthems, EDM, reggae, jazz, R&B, the list goes on. Sadly, Siyeon is having to sit out on the promotions for this comeback because of health issues and anxiety, so we are doing everything we can to get them a win with JUSTICE, to reward the hard-work that both the members and staff of DCC have put in to give us such amazing music over the years. 👑🙌

Ult group for me. They kept me sane during the covid years. I feel like DC is like a cheatcode for me in kpop. I love rock, anime, and fantasy, somehowww, DC encompasses all that and more. Their company is small but very tenacious. Awesome staff, awesome-er CEO. And probably the only k-pop fandom I stan. There is SOO much for you to go through, this is going to be a fun journey.

It's always so wonderful to see reactions from people who don't know as much about the group. They always come away with at the least an appreciation for what they hear, or at most falling down the rabbit hole that is this group and before long they become a new InSomnia. Their live vocals are really not much different from the studio version and to this day this still sing live as much as possible-something that doesn't happen much in Kpop anymore. This song was the end of a two part story. The lyrics depict them as heroes who have come to save the world, so to speak. It's probably why Justice ended up sounding so epic and cinematic. If you're panicking now, you are really in for it, friend. Gay panic is a very common condition among this fandom. It will only get worse from here should you go on, lol. I'd recommend listening to the entire album if you get the chance-Stomp is just as gut punching. Oh, and then there's 2 Rings. They did a stage for that B side, along with fancams for each member. It's all on their official YT channel. I think you might need to take a sedative beforehand, but you're welcome.

Should you want to get to know the members individually, there is a channel on YT-insomniscy. This person keeps a very close eye on their career as a group and has individual 'This is' videos for each member. You may be leaning towards one member as a bias but I've seen it change before as fans have gotten to really know the group. Good luck. Dreamcatcher is the best girl group, they are just underrated. It is hard to recommend a song to react to because all of them are just so good. Their music videos are stunning, their B sides are just as good and they are the queens of covers. I recomand you to just start from the debud song in cronological order. Edit: I've been an InSomnia since debut! I came across their debut live stage and have been in love since then! They were the first group that made me buy a physical album, my first k-pop group concert I attended and the first group I bought merch from (lightstick, MDs, you name it!)

Dreamcatcher (DC/Deukae) is an unique 7 member girl group. They're a K-pop group known to incorporate pop & other genres and, in one way or another, blending with rock/metal/synth instrumentals within *ALL* their *TITLE TRACKS*.
Thus creating an unique signature blend of genre known only to Dreamcatcher.
They're also known as the Concept Queens and having Powerful live performances, usually with dark/horror/creepy concept themes MVs. Their title tracks MVs have always been story based, connecting one song to another. **This is only for their TITLE TRACKS.**
They've had concerts and live performances with live bands, which, to me, has the best versions, which many InSomnias can agree that.
On a flipside, their B-SIDES hold a *HUGE* variety of genres and experimental fusion creativity. It's like a different world of Dreamcatcher. I've always been a rock/metal head, especially from Japan. Even Siyeon and Jiu, fans of one ok rock and babymetal respectively.
Also fun fact, Siyeon used to be a vocalist of a rock band during her school years. So, you can look out for the techniques she uses when she belts high notes, you can hear the rock-ish vibe. Even in Justice too. React to the Dancear version by 1theK. In fact listen to all the members' vocals..

You got taken aback by Dami, the youngest and normally their rapper, but she sang with her sexy gravelly voice. SIYEON, purple hair is one of rock DIVAS. Unfortunately, she's on hiatus getting her mental health in order (and I'm sorry if my diagnosis is off). But come back strong and slay, SIYEON!!!
Their whole discography is fire. The CZcams channel Insomnicsy is a great channel that has English captions for getting to know the group/members personalities. Dreamcatcher has even reacted to their videos too. Highly recommend the “This is series” on that channel.

Also, ONE OK ROCK is Siyeon's favorite group of all time and she said they are one of the main reasons she became a singer. Also Korea's DAY6 are a big influence and they have met many times on TV and Radio shows. The first time they met, the girls have given them gifts they prepared and said they were huge fans. I became a fan of Dreamcatcher since their song "Maison" came out (part of their apocalypse trilogy, first part)
Quickly, the one who sang that high note at the end is the main vocalist wolfie Siyeon (one with purple hair)
First one to sing, Leader Rabbit JiU (lead vocalist, who is also a main vocalist)
The first one to open up the build-up "We build the barrier" is SuA (birdy, crow-tit) (main dancer, lead rapper, sub vocalist who is also a main vocalist)
-one with blonde hair with the arrows is the maknae Foxy Gahyeon (lead vocalist, lead rapper)
-rapper is Panda Dami (main rapper, sub vocallist but also lead vocalist)
-one with angel wings, Cat Handong (chinese member, lead vocalist also main vocalist)
-orange hair is Puppy Yoohyeon (lead vocalist also main)
-and as mentioned above, purple hair is Wolfie Siyeon (main vocalist, who is currently not participating in this promotion due to dealing with health and anxiety issues, and we are all praying for her to get her well deserved rest to come back healthy)
And as you have noticed, i put animals in front of their names, those are the animals that each member represents.
And also, the fact that only one of them have the "main vocalist" position, but all of them are basically main vocalists since their vocals are that phenomenal.
Also, this comeback is a sequel (duology) to their previous song "OOTD"
They are known to have storylines and have series and trilogies.
And when you heard "Deja Vu" at the beginning, your thought about it was basically spot on. Its a special song that was in collaboration with a mobile game called "Kings Raid"
And also, they do have a Japanese song that is an anime opening for that same game, called "Eclipse"

They truly have a "no-skip" discography. All of their songs are really good, even their B-sides. Another unique thing about them, is that in pretty much all their songs, they dont sing about love or anything like other groups do, a lot of the topics they sing about are about real world issues.

There is also a youtube channel called "Insomnicsy", it is a Dreamcatcher fan channel, the owner of the channel is a certified insomnia, even her videos were watched and reacted to by the members themselves. It has a whole playlist of "This Is:_____" videos where it goes in depth about each member for each year. Other playlists as well that show their chaos and personalities off stage.

Dreamcatcher actually did Deja vu for a video gane called Kings Raid that was later adapted into an anime and thye sing the i tro for the anime the song is called Eclipse, highly recommend ✨️

The insane ad libs you heard are from Siyeon 🐺. She's the Main Vocalist of Dreamcatcher. Siyeon's voice is incredible and she specializes in insane adlibs like this. In reality, she's one of the best vocalists in K-Pop right now. Although she's in the MV, she's actually on hiatus during the comeback promotion, for health reasons. However, the other 6 members are really good vocalists also, who had to cover for Siyeon, did it with flying colors. The most notable is SuA 🐥, who's the group's Main Dancer. She has recovered from vocal cord nodules a few years ago and she's getting better with every comeback. The rest got better and better over the years and the results are songs like Justice, Fireflies, 2 Rings or STΦMP (from this album).
I found Dreamcatcher just before the pandemic hit, around February 2020. "Scream" was the sng that made me notice them although I had heard snippets of "Deja Vu" and a few others before then. When they did their self-made video for "Sahara," I knew this was the group for me. As fierce as they look in "Justice," they are just as lovable goofy in their self-made vids.
I would also recommend starting from the beginning with Chase Me. Their music can be divided into eras.
The Nightmare series are the first six Korean albums (title tracks are "Chase Me," "Good Night," "Fly High" which is a prequel to "Chase Me," "You and I," "What," and "Piri.")
The Dystopia series has "Scream," "Boca," and "Odd Eye."
The Apocalypse series has "Maison," "Vision," and "Bon Voyage."
Then you have the Versus series with "OOTD" and "Justice."
There are some stand-alone videos as well. "Deja Vu" and "R.o.S.E Blue" are game collab videos. "BEcause" is from the summer album. "Reason" is their latest song dedicated to the fans.
The B-sides are comprised of many different genres and there are also Japanese-language releases.

So, you love j-rock huh?
Well, you found the perfect group. When Dreamcatcher started they were heavily influenced by j-rock, which was sort of a risky move because rock was not popular in South Korea. I think you're really going to enjoy their earlier stuff. As others have suggested, I think the best place for you to start is right at the beginning. It's also a good idea to follow their MV's in release order because, with a couple exceptions, Dreamcatcher's title tracks / MV's tend to tell an extended story or follow a common theme. Their first 6 releases tell a dark story about how a group of boarding school girls were cursed and turned into Nightmares.
One of InSomnia's favorite pastimes is deciphering their music videos and coming up with theories about what the story / message is behind the MV.
Also, if you want to learn names and faces, the absolute best way to do that would be to watch the This is... series of videos (This is JiU, This is SuA, etc) created by Insomnicsy. Each video is dedicated to a single member which makes it easy to associate the name with the person highlighted in the video. Of course the other members will appear, but the primary focus will be that one member. You'll also learn about how funny, talented and humble these women are.

1.There's a performance video on 1thek called dancEAR,really raw and immersive live,even with footsteps,but the special thing about this 1 is that it have Siyeon(the same bday girl and the belter at final chorus),unfortunately she is on Hiatus currently and taking a rest,so it might be the only OT7 performance we will get before concert videos much much later

The edition in this video is so amazing !!! Like, this is the best I've seen from DCC! I am seeing so many biblical references, which dates back to the album title! Support dancers are all in black, while girls have at least a little white in them (all except Yoohyun Mmmmmm). Your second chorus is surrounded everywhere by darkness, but it still fights. Darkness tries to master them, but they fight against her! "She is the knight that shines all over the world, she is the warrior who gives strength and courage to all parts of the world, she is the eternal legend that will be remembered in all parts of the world, she is the dreamy of dreams." . This was such a different MV for them! I didn't expect religious themes coming in it, but they razed. My only observation is that I wanted both MV and music to be more chaotic and intense the longer it lasted. This one is a dreamy of dreams. The divas are back ..❤👏👏👏
