Great video guys. We used our iPhone and a DJI gimbal initially when we went to America last year. We still use it for Instagram videos. For our cruise we went for the same GoPro package as you guys and we love it. Still got to get used to having the right settings. Eventually I think we’ll go with a drone once we start travelling Australia. Keep up all the great videos guys.

@@KSmith-ez3dh in CZcams studio there is an Audio library link on the left side that brings up all the music you can download that is not copyrighted. When you hover over the date added it let you download. Next to that is license type ( so just check that) Cheers

Your drone, the Air 2 S, fully loaded, weighs 595 grams. Unless your drone weighs more than 2 kilograms, you don't need to be licenced.. unless you are flying it for your job... eg for your employer. Or you sell the actual footage for gain. When using your own footage on your own, monetised yt channel, you do NOT need to be licenced. You DO need to keep your drone in your visual line of sight at all times, so be careful when you're scouting ahead. Even though the licence doesn't cost anything, it does mean that you're on another list and can be tracked, as your drone is also registered. That's up to you, of course.

I am seeking some clarification from "Know Your Drone" (A government information site) You may need to register it, but the wording is kind of ambiguous as to when you need a licence to fly it. over 250gm but Sub 2Kg drones are classed as "Very Small - exempt" drones. On the one hand it says you only need a licence if you are using a drone as part of your "job" - or are intending to sell the footage. Using it for yourself, on your own channel, doesn't seem to fit any of the criteria. It MAY, if you are a full time CZcams creator who uses it as a business (and you are registered as such), with the intent of making money from it... As I said I am seeking some clarification. So many darn rules and regulations for something that should be "fun". 🤯

That would include all sizes of drone... even sub 250gm ones, as it is classed as a job. The size of drone denote the flying rules you need to follow... like being within certain distances of controlled airfields, etc. This is what Know Your Drone said to me... There's no requirement to register your drone or to become accredited if you only fly your drone for fun, sport, or education (as a school or higher education provider). This includes posting photos or video from the drone on social media for recreational purposes.
