  • Welcome to Veracruz - our 15th state we’ve visited in Mexico! Whether you know it as Veracruz, Heroica Veracruz, or El Puerto de Veracruz, this Mexican city is full of rich history and has quite the story to tell!
In this video, we take you on a journey through Veracruz, Mexico, where the nation's oldest and most vital seaport, the Port of Veracruz, is located. Join us as we explore the city center, the zocalo, the malecon, the naval museum, Fuerte de San Juan de Ulúa, and the city's oldest cafe, El Gran Cafe de la Parroquia.
Our tour won't be complete without experiencing the local cuisine. Veracruz is renowned for its seafood dishes, so seafood is on the itinerary. And stay tuned to the end as we experience two INSANE encounters with people we never imagined we’d meet in real life…
We've curated this travel guide to Veracruz, Mexico, with the hope that it'll inspire your own journey and enrich your experience in this vibrant city. Enjoy your trip!

Hello, I am from Veracruz Puerto and thank you very much for having visited my state and my city, we are a state and city that have a lot to offer to tourism and you don't know how nice it felt to watch your video and see and hear how nice you expressed yourselves from my city since I am studying abroad. I hope you return to Veracruz soon. As the holy Pope John Paul II said "Because only Veracruz is beautiful." And btw, I invite everyone who is reading this comment to come to Veracruz, we will welcome you with open arms, you will not regret it.

Vera Cruz has the largest black population in Mexico. I have been contemplating joining the African diaspora there, I have been randomly searching Vera Cruz here on YT hoping to gain insight and knowledge. Thanks for the upload! Also, the cost of living is a 1/3 of the cost to live here in Atlanta Ga from my limited research, 2k roughly is enough for a family of 4 to live comfortably.

I'll also correct things that are missing...
Things to NOT do while in Veracruz, Mexico
    1. Don't talk to any armed/masked men on the streets (even when daylight or night time)
    2. Don't insult anyone there (even if they seem friendly)
    3. And last but not least... Don't mess around there, it's Mexico 💀
