Further up the Pacific Coast Highway is the Bolsa Chica state reserve area, which is a 1,300 acre natural reserve and public land in Orange County. It is a popular place for locals to walk and hike. It is also very popular with birders and photographers as there are more than 200 avian species identified at Bolsa Chica.

Finishing the drive just past Naples (a neighborhood in Long Beach), built on three islands located in Alamitos Bay. This Italian-inspired Long Beach community was developed in the early 1900’s as the “Dreamland of Southern California”.

The first thing I noticed in this beautiful video was how flat the landscape is. You can see for miles ahead of you. It is strange not to see mountains. The water and boats are beautiful. The water color matches the sky! My favorite was the little house out on the water at the end of the video! I want to live there! Thank you for another beautiful video and allowing me to travel along! ( from my couch in snowy NY)!
Hi Susan, thank you for watching and for your comments. Naples, which is part of Long Beach is quaint and has a good mix of water/land activities. It would be so relaxing to just sit in your yard and watch the sun go down over the water!
Great drive. I lived in Seal Beach when raising my boys, moved to Huntington Beach when they grew up. I love driving through Sunset Beach every moring and evening to and from work.

Great video, visiting California for the first time in May. Plan on driving from along Beach to Huntington Beach so this was great. Even more excited now

Hi chillin, we are planning holiday in july . Finally after 7 years without the kids. We have been in LA back in 2014 but just 1 day. Anyway my question our plan is stay in orange county and go to huntington beach where is the best place to park our car . Is anything there like a cheap breakfast and dinner place? Thanks .

@@G0ddEityawesome truly, we don’t, i usually ask the locals myself. They are friendly and welcoming, the visitor centers are great. I would recommend calling them.
