Hello sir, can we ignore crack width in case of modrate environment, g+2 storey where life of structure is about 50 years.
That depends upon magnitude of moment.
@@civilconst lets say we have a basic design load as given in is code for residential building. And building falls in earthquake zone 4 with moderate environmental conditions.

How to check crack width in case of tension???
Crack is checked for tension and in this video we have computed for tension
