When he mills everyone out they will all be exiled to dauthi. That means on upkeep he will have access to every card in urza and krark decks. He could sac dauthi to cast an oracle? Or anything that keeps him alive.
Voidwalker has a ruling that says cards played by it's ability are subject to timing restrictions. He'd unfortunately have already lost before he got to his main phase. I didn't see anything in Urza or Krarkashima that would have saved him at instant speed either
I have fooled around with krikk b4 and am wondering why or what’s the utility of tendo ice bridge ?? Instead of just one more basic swamp? Thanks for any help
The deck runs Demonic Consultation and Tainted Pact so all of the lands need to have unique names. Tendo works because your lands probably don't need to make black mana more than once and it still makes mana after you use the charge counter.
How did he manage to untap the griding station... If i get it right, he can make infinit treasure tokens, but to make this he will have to tap the token that just been created... If i'm correct, he woldnt have any artefact to untap grinding station. I think I missed smtg, can u explain?
Chandler can continue the loop to make more treasures. Every time a treasure enters, the Grinding Station will untap and you just sacrifice that treasure to the station to mill out each opponent.
Same with battered golem … artifact ETB untapping makes it a sleeper part of a combo if it becomes a dwarf 1st instead if Magda becoming an artifact is NOT easily on the board.
It's a stax piece that affects opponents more than it affects the Urza player. When Thassa's Oracle is the main win con and the only creature in the Urza deck is a Polymorph target, you get to run stax pieces like this.
This may come as a shock to you, but people have different preferences. That's just how it is. I feel the same way about casual EDH. How can you have fun when you're all just durdling with no interaction or goal?
How to win Cedh with Magda:
Get 10 treasures.
Win.
Any magda deck has to win if you manage 10 treasures
Or just 5, with half a combo.

I was REAL surprised the Urza player was talked out of countering Magda. Countering the recruiter felt MUCH less valuable to me...
Instead of grinding station, use “altar of the brood”. It’s simpler and you’ll win easier
