I’m so so glad your video popped up on my home page again-I believe it’s been ~a year and a half or longer since I’ve seen any of your videos; but I wanted to say how incredibly impressed I am by you, and how much you’ve developed as a “CZcams” interior designer (I assume it’s pretttty different than real life interior design, haha). I genuinely got a lot out of this video-not just the products themselves! Can’t wait to watch all of the others I’ve missed-they look RIGHT up my alley, too! When I saw the vid on how to decorate with green I squealed internally (I’m too lazy today or it would have been a squeal sent out to the universe! Haha!) and I’m SO excited/curious to hear what you have to say about what to specifically NOT have in your home (as well as what _to_ have for good feng shui, which I’m huge fan of in general. The concepts just make sense to me.
So I wanted to congratulate you on the amazing progress you’ve made-you really manage to provide GREAT information WHILE providing viewers with products which def ain’t easy; and I don’t remember you doing any vids like this when I was watching. Really great to see, and thank you so much for providing this content-I got so much out of this video! I literally took notes hahaha!

Hi Julie. I agree with you on the cordless vacuum. But it's giving me a tough decision whether to hide it in a closet or just hang it on the wall. I don't have any space to hide the vacuum and prefer it to be mounted on the wall without being an eyesore. To have it charging on the wall when not in use is really convenient. Would love to hear your suggestion. Thanks.

I’ve had this cart for 9 years now. Best move I made for my kitchen. Makes the entire space so much more functional with the added prep counter 👍 I switched out the handle and added my own brass one to match the kitchen finishes ✨
I have the ember mug, love it.
Me too! Ember is the OG. I was gifted a similar one, but the mug doesn’t stay warm- only the charger. So when you remove the mug from the base- your beverage gets cold. Kinda defeats the purpose of a mobile mug!

I purchased MANY pre-fabricated panels from Amazon to test them out. This one had it all- great quality, hangs well, heavyweight, header options, affordable 👏🏻

Great items. I need another pair of scissors. I love the glove holder. But I dont like putting these adhesive things on my walls. Last time I did a command hook and pulled it off the wall i had to patch a huge rip of the dry wall and then prime and paint. What a PIA. No more adhesive wall things for me. But I can put it on the back of a cabinet door to hold my gloves.
It comes with an anchor as well Margaret! You can use hardware to install, or yes, mount on the back of the cabinet so you don’t damage those walls yikes 😬

One of the videos, I heard you talked about it is possible to paint over the engineered wood floor. I would love to see how one is done. Have you tried?
Yes, I have painted over hardwood, many times. It’s the video “Designer reacts to celebrity home tour”. The designers painted a harlequin/ diamond pattern white over wood. You can definitely do it yourself, but enlist professionals if you’re doing a complicated pattern. It’s a similar application to how I stenciled over my old tile floors. Check out that video in the guest bathroom makeover 👍

I like when I have poop on my shoe and I scrape it off on my friend's moms basement rec room coffee table. Oops. No one ever wore shoes again after she had to clean that shit up. Haha. Childhood mistakes are so nostalgic.

Infomercials sell one particular product, and attempt to manipulate viewers into purchasing said product through deceptive means and obscure promises; this video shows a plethora of products that Julie found to be worthwhile purchases, without any pressure to buy said items - not an infomercial.
Julie is a professional interior designer who sources products all day long; she is simply sharing her list of "Amazon bests", from her own personal experience, for those of us who don't feel like doing the legwork ourselves lol.
Many content creators create content as a way to, in part, generate income. It would be bad business for her NOT to share the products she enjoys using, and hopefully earn a tiny bit through affiliate links if and when her viewers decide to buy a product. Without generating revenue, many creators would not be able to sacrifice endless hours of their time creating the videos we so thoroughly enjoy bc they'd have to be out working elsewhere.
Personally I enjoy seeing what products other people, especially professionals, are using in their own real lives. Especially a busy mother with kids as I am also a busy mother with kids.

What I like about this post is I can choose what to get. Julie gives great professional advice about products she uses or has purchased for customers. I have purchased several. The only one I did not like was the iRobot vacuum. It’s pretty useless. Can’t remember where to vacuum and doesn’t really pick up that well. However she is spot on with that Dyson. If you don’t have one get one. You will not regret it. I have already disposed of one upright cord vacuum. Good riddance! The cordless Dyson will make you want to vacuum. It’s amazing. I got my Dyson on sale at bed bath and beyond bf it closed and got a terrific deal. However I have seen the same prices on Amazon as what I bought it for.
Haters gonna hate. All one has to do is READ the title to know this video is about Amazon products.

Man, such Debbie downers in the comments today. I liked this video and I'm popping over to Amz to see if I can snag those kitchen shears. I love, love your black stone countertops! I also did the same wall treatment ( in blue) in my dining room that you did in your daughter's bedroom. I honestly have hooks all over my house too. At the front door, the back door, both bathrooms. I even have a couple in the mstr for mine and hubby's robes. If I don't have hooks up, towels, jackets, throw blankets, robes all get thrown over a random chair or hamper edge. Or in the case of my teenager, the floor...
