I love the Gaster one so much, like the dude's all mysterious and he just sends a silly goofy letter to us for valentine's day
Gaster knows about IRL Events, even referencing the Covid lockdowns back before Chapter 2. I wonder if that's important at all, as no other character has such an intimate knowledge of what happens outside of the game.
@@pancakes8670 My personal theory is that Gaster literally escaped the game and became real as one would say, that's why he talks to us in twitter and tells everyone else (the other characters) they're in a game

I got the Spamton one where he mentions checking out the enclosed instruction book., which is a hotel Mario reference. Not sure if Toby is sending personalised cards or something, because that one's to be my favorite, as a huge YTP enjoyer. Also can't believe the Ralsei making a fat blunt has been mentioned lol. Those last cards could be something interesting.

Honestly i genuanly think he does. i have signed up whith both my main email and my school email and that acually got pointed out in one of them. its kinda awesome that he does tht. (also sometimes when it says kris it says something like "No not you!"
Not to mention he also attached the Love Letter virus at the bottom of the same valentine. And the forgetting is very similar to the formatting of the email the virus would send

The last card seems fascinating because the character has a very distinct way of speaking, but I don't think we've heard this voice before. I can understand thinking that its gaster because of the All caps dialog, the tonal wiplash, and the meta awareness, but the similarities seem to stop there and its not like those traits have been exclusive to gaster only. I'm assuming that this is a message from another hidden boss who is seeking freedom, but I suppose only time will tell.
The thing is we HAVE seen that style of writing before
It was the same style Deltarune was delivered to us in over on Toby’s twitter and, to add, the style that greets us when we first boot up the game when our creation was discarded
@@beywheelzhater8930A lot of people think that the twitter and start-up text is faster, myself included so that is what they meant.
Another thing to note, from a person who's frankly annoyed with the fandom's over-insistence of his potential importance: no other character, let alone either current superboss, is as aware as that letter showed. Even if Jevil truly knows this is a game and isn't just talking crazy like he's in a rubber room with rats, he never once acknowledges the name. The only other instance outside of possibly Gaster was Gerson back in Undertale, but only because he was describing the actual Delta Rune.
The way I see it, aside from what seems to be going on with this new character here, literally no character introduced yet is aware that it's a game. Almost every function has an in-universe explanation, like saving, loading, etc.

@@EmikaYamane7521 gasters sprite is probably called HIM.png the song name at the start of delta rune when you make the vessel is called another HIM and someone with the same writing as this talks to you in all caps while gaster also speeks in all caps and with the same spacing just in the wingdings font so its not that far fetched

I think one of the funniest parts is the fact that you have to realize: these are *cards*, meaning
- Sans is writing in comic sans (somehow????)
- Roulx (or rouxl idk how 2 spell) kardd is writing in an accent
- and papyrus is telling the person he wrote his valentines to, to meet him outside. Papyrus you special little lemon you are *MAILING* this to a person who isn’t even in the same UNIVERSE you’re in I mean I don’t even know where to *START* to figure out what kind of *POSTAL OFFICE* these characters *USE*-

7:44 Anonymous is Alphys, this is because of file name, every card have name of character in their name, so this card name is "35-alphys-2-n-xBY6jAogVkZ63AX2.png". So it's basically Alphys, no Gaster (Alphys is just bit too shy).
And what's strange is that I couldn't find some cards EVEN IN FILES. So maybe they are not official?
Also MTT and Queen's EXE valentines a GIFs (they are animated)

For everyone saying the last one is the chaper 3 secret boss, not only do you have zero proof, but do you realize how much of an insane status that would put this character at?
That would mean that the chapter 3 secret boss has knowlage far beyond what we've seen so far that rivals gaster's level of self awareness, they're working on a massive project, they have an ASSISTANT (so far secret bosses being completely companionless has been one of their themes) and can MANIPULATE THE FABRIC OF REALITY TO MANIFEST META PHYSICALLY in wierd places.

In fact just imagine in chapter 7. We met all the secret bosses. And gaster has been built up as this dangerous all powerful being. And then when we meet him he says

the letter say unknow it cloud be anyone but everyone assume it gaster but did the letter should be in windings to decripte it if that was the case
1. The speaker we meet in the character select is implied to be gaster due to motifs and song name. They speak in all caps which is what gaster uses in his wing dings font. Toby using wingdings would be too obvious so making him speak in all caps is more mysterious.
2. I hope it is gaster because it means his goofy personality in the "im wing gaster! The royal scientist" meme is canon
