Today is the Twentieth Sunday in Ordinary Time; and the gospel continues to present to us Jesus’s discourse on the bread of life.
Jesus’s listeners, at the time, could not make sense of his proclamation: “I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats his bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.”
This confused many of Jesus’s listeners-for how could he give them his flesh to eat? But we know, brothers and sisters, that Jesus’s claim would only become clearer and the supper that anticipated the offering of his body and blood on the cross.
Believing in Jesus’s word eating his flesh and drinking his blood may sound foolish we pray for the grace of spiritual wisdom so that we whole heartedly welcome Jesus in our lives.

Dear God Our Father in Heaven, we thank you for holding open the way into our hearts and for bringing us the peace of Jesus Christ. Help us to keep this way open. Grant us peace in this tempest-torn world. Grant us peace when many struggles and uncertainties try to occupy our hearts. We have no strength in ourselves, only in him who is standing at our side and who will never forsake us, who lives and gives strength. His light will always break in anew among us. His light will shine on many people and lead them to the promised day, the day that will bring all our hopes to fulfillment. In Jesus Christ Name. Amen.

In interpreting the bread of life let us not overlook the scenario that the crowd were constantly and passionately following Jesus Christ whereby Jesus Christ gave full satisfaction with evcess
Cardinal Tagle please teach them,the people in tv healing mass, to shake the dust off their sandals
Would "forshake foolishness" obliterate the boundary line between observance of all His commandments and making the church a market place?

We should pray that all interpretation of the word was God shall not prejudice the duty of baptized christians' to observe all His commandments
Over exposure exposed ones siily thouhts thereby exposing ones foolishness.For this fact I want to remain in the wilderness and I wait for the holy spirit to draw people to my foolish ideas
To treat foolishness is humanly impossible work.Therefore to aquire the bread of life by making man forshake foolishness is impossible task of man.Wberefore the possible way is to accept the word as. God by observing all His commandments thereby the bread of life will be given to man.

To imagine and believe that in the holy eucharist one eats the real flesh of Jesus Christ as the way to partake of the banquet of the lord is the worst

Is it not foolishness to believe that our food for the journey is the bread of life? Yes it is sheer foolishness because the bread of life is constant and perpetual observance of all His commandments
Do we accept that this gospel is teaching man to cure and treat foolish people
"Forsake Foolishness" is a foolish manner of receiving, proverbially eating, the bread of life
The scenario relating to the giving of the bread of life is consistently proclaimed by St.John by constantly picturing people who were passionately following Jesus Christ .
The risen Lord exclaimed to Cleopas " Oh how foolish you are". Then the risen lord taught them about the word of God the father of heaven and earth beginning from Moses.That is how foolishness is condemned by the risen lord .Those who do not understand the word incarnate are so how foolish.

What did Jesus Christ prescribe for man to be given the bread of life?
The bread of life is to forshake the dust off from the missioners sandals in order to observe all His commandments
It seems you are a protestant..we do not force you to believe what we believe..if Cardinal Tagle is preaching primarily this is for us Catholics.
We suggest that you look at the exegesis or the interpretation of the Apostles, early Church Fathers and the Catholic Church for over 2,000 years. It's not about shaking the dust off the sandals to observe the commandments but the partaking in the body and blood of Christ
Is there a need to discern God's will when the face of the word incarnate is transfigured bright as the sun and His clothes become dazzling white? I think the will of the one whose clothes is dazzling black needs to be discerned.
Forshake foolishness teach eating to aquire the bread of life minus observing all His commandments
Preaching eating the flesh of Jesus Christ as a way of squiring the bread of life negates and abrogates man's covenant with God
Forsake foolishness preached wisdom is needed to discern God's will. Does it need wisdom to discern that man cannot just do what he wants to do notwithstanding all His commandments.
The scenario pictured by the gift of talent of the venerable Cardinal Tagle is inconsistent with the scenario that will give justice to the constant and perpetual determination of the people to follow Jesus Christ no matter what and no matter where.
Why link the observance of all His commandments with kape't pandasal.Does kape't pandasal forsake foolishness.?Is this wisdom prepared by Wisdom in Wisdom's banquet?
Forsake Foolishness is never a discourse of the bread of life.Forsake foolishness is a discourse of wisdom of man
This gospel is not about foolishness.This is about the misinterpretation of the word "was God".this gospel thereby commands all missioners who are misinterpreting the word to rest awhile in order to recuperate
To recuperate is basically to shake the dust off the sandals of the missioners.Lamentably, the dust that makes the church a market place of offerings has not yet been shaken off by catholic priests and nuns
John 6 mentions eating of Jesus' flesh 5x and drinking of his blood 2x. The Lord has doubled down on his message.
May you ask for the grace of spiritual wisdom and avoid the foolish reaction of the first century Jews
Stop making my father's house a market place is a commandment for which Jesus Christ died for on the cross

For a first century Jew, eating a man's flesh is indeed so vile, that Jesus' words sounded repulsive. However, was Jesus just making a figure of speech? After this many of his disciples drew back and no longer walked with him. - John 6:66. The answer is no, he meant what he said. Jesus, instead of giving an explanation, actually doubled down on his literal words: But Jesus, knowing in himself that his disciples murmured at it, said to them, “Do you take offense at this? Then what if you were to see the Son of man ascending where he was before?* - John 6:61-62. Unless you actually understand who Jesus is, you wouldn't believe him. That is why we ask for the grace of wisdom.
Several weeks have the gospel been proclaiming the bread of life.Yet the work man has to do to receive, acquire the bread of life is not proclaimed yet.
There is nothing man can do to receive and acquire the bread of life. Nothing in our own actions merit out salvation. It is freely given by God
Yet who know that a man is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ, and not by works of the law, because by works of the law shall no flesh be justified. - Galatians 2:16

Wrong appreciation of Jesus Christ's gospel message as what Cleopas mentioned to the risen lord which drew an exclamation from the risen lord saying;"Oh how foolish you are" Forshake foolishness is in essence the same as Cleopas appreciation of the lord's gospel relating His passion and death on the cross
Respect us Catholics. If you do not accept the teaching of the Eucharist, we catholics will not urge you to accept, but respect us also. Do not impose us your bible alone teaching.
