As a F-111 Maintenance Vet in the USAF (RAF Upper Heyford) 1990 - 1993 I would love to see the F-111 in the game! Videos reenacting different conflicts would be pretty popular on a lot of the FB pages for the 111. It would be great if they mapped UH and Lakenheath too!

Need more multi crew missions, I maybe old fashioned, but I love multi crew aircraft, Having grown up in the Scottish Borders where Tonkas (GR1/4/F3) regularly buzzed my parents house at 250ft, I'm used to seeing may 2 seaters.
You forgot to mention: the TF-30s in the F-14 surge and stall, just like they did in the F-111 even after a complete redesign of the intakes.....
I'm really digging that custom skin.

At least they have the F/A-18A, and that's a remarkable model. I used to be posted to 75SQN Tindal so have a bit of bias for the Hornet, though the Pigs are a beautiful jet too and hopefully they're added. Are you anywhere near Amberley QLD?

The Australian F111 had a side by side orientation for the pilot and the WSO the whole cockpit ejected as well which is cool down side f111 was also the most dangerous aircraft to fly at the time as it's loss of speed was very fast like the f4 fantom few pilots died just in normal operations and training.
The crew that was released, was not guilty of drug importation.
There are so many factors that we don't know about, but odds are the crew were just hapless employees facing a cutthroat labor market (competitive and low wages) whose only concern was operation of the ship. Owners, custom officials, longshoremen, and others could had a hand or been totally unaware - smuggling can involve a myriad of aspects.
@@whyno713 Not all of the crew were involved. The captain certainly was, as he attempted to outrun the Navy. An Anzac is not the fastest ship in the water but managed to sortie from Garden Island and chase them down off Newcastle.
Anyone seen "The Mole - Undercover in North Korea"? Absolutely amazing documentary, details the completely over-the-top readiness of North Korean government officials to get involved in international arms and drug trades.

Begs the question as to why there isn't an F111 available for DCS World instead of a half arsed F14 mashup lol. The Pig was a fantastic aircraft and I'm actually surprised it hasn't appeared in DCS world when lesser machines are there. "250 feet, left TFR, Hard Ride."
I do not think I have ever heard anyone call the Heatblur F-14 a "half arsed mashup." considering it is still the defacto BEST gold standard module in the game. F-14A and F-14B are nearly identical except for engines. Everything the B had the A had for avionics. The entire fleet was upgraded with new avionics. The A also had the upgraded RWR that came with the B. Just about the only difference was the Engines.
@@Power5 Sorry, I should have been more specific, in that it's a 'mashup' to have it pose as an F111. No criticism of the Heatblur F14 as such, but it will never be a Pig.

Here's a mission suggestion for you: Following recent revelations on CZcams, all the drug smugglers in the world have found out that in Australia they might be able to get away with just acquittal and deportation. The Australian government has detected 120 drug smuggling ships inbound for Australia's Western coast, and has hired the Grim Reapers to intercept the ships before they make it to the shore, and send an even clearer message by using only the largest warheads available.
Hard mode: Australia's Emus have taken the opportunity to once again declare war on the country, and are waiting at the shoreline disguised as cows and armed with air defence weapons to help protect the drug smugglers.
Extra hard mode: Australia's famously hospitable weather wants a piece of the action too.

You should do the Raid on Entebbe rescue Operation in Uganda 1976. It was a huge rescue Operation conducted by 100 strong Israeli Special Forces to rescue 106 Jewish Hostages from the combined forces of Amin regime and PLFP terrorists. Where on Israeli Commando was killed and 45 Ugandan troops loyal to Amin plus nearly the entire airforce was destroyed with 30 planes wiped out to avoid being pursued by Amins AirForce and all 7 highjackers were killed with 102 Hostages rescued and flown back to israel.

biggest difference between the A and C is the fact that the C had side by side seating and larger wings.
All F-111's were side by side seating. The 'C' was an 'A' with the carrier undercarriage and extended wings of the 'B'.

Navy should have sunk the Pong Su with a harpoon when it tried to escape.
Would have saved Aussie taxpayers the cost of trying the drug smugglers and deporting them.
I can see issues in trying to prosecute the crew not caught in transporting the heroin. Besides it could cause security issues to our (Australian) merchant ships operating in Asia. Crazy Nth Korean operatives may target tourists as well as Embassy Staff.

Ironically, Cap, the U.K. is the world's biggest user of legal diacetylmorphine (Heroin). It is indicated for severe - _very_ severe pain, usually in terminal cancer patients, but I don't think it's available for prescription. This is probably due to its addictive potential. diacetylmorphine has an extremely high psychological addiction liability, even when compared to opioids of similar strength. Hydromorphone, for example, is equally powerful, but significantly less addictive.
I had some morphine when I was doing my chemo, nice stuff but would not recommend.
@@grimreapers I had some oxycodone after my car crash. It's a tad more powerful but less constipating than morphine. It's also considerably less likely to induce euphoria.

If the Australian government had convicted the crew, Australian taxpayers would have to pay for all of their luxury accommodation in Australian prisons by comparison to their fate in North Korea. Lol aquitting them and sending them back to North Korea was probably better for everybody. They probably 'disappeared' the minute they hit the tarmac back home anyway.
Just to fill in the gaps; The Aussies captured the ship full of drugs, we removed the crew and prosecuted them in court. The Ship got $500 AUD a day in fees for a few years, nobody wanted to pay the fee so the RAAF had fun.... All Legal.... Nobody died..... We are not America, shoot first ask questions (or make excuses) later.
We should let the military deal with all drugs problems!, after a while there wouldn't be any

We did, then once the legal process was completed it was used as a target for the RAN and RAAF. No one was onboard, no one was killed.
