Hey Jamie, great haul. The emergency kit you were talking about. I do the same thing in my vehicle because you never know what will happen. In the jar, you can put some lights with the seashells and some sand. Just my thoughts. That vase with the string on it, you can put a solar stake light in it if it can get the sunlight to it.

My hubby made'go' bags for his car and my truck. He got backpacks off Amazon and filled them with everything we might need if we got stuck somewhere. Besides the normal things you would think of, flashlight, warm blank, etc, don't forget some kitty litter and a folding shovel.

Jamie here's an idea for a Father's day diy. take the 3 piece of wood blocks cut on in half glue half to other block shaping a L cover with the green and black plaid material making book ends.

When you mentioned your laundry service, I was taken back to my childhood, my parents owned a dry cleaner and all those years ago my dad ran a laundry route!! As well as he would pick up peoples dry cleaning too! How amazing that he was so ahead of his time!!!

We have a little chihuahua that thinks everything is hers. If I leave bags on craft room floor she goes through them. Had to chase her to livingroom to get one of the Xmas elves from her. That post it holder is adorable, would be perfect at work.

I use that silicone scrubber to clean paint and makeup brushes. I add soap on the scrubber and then scrub the brushes on the scrubber then rinse well and I love how it works.

I used a wash dry and fold in the past I was so impressed at how well they were packaged up and sent home then I seen my bill with a note saying they would collect when they came back to get more it was maybe 3loads and 4pairs of jeans ready for the total 54,62

What a haul! The socks were great, some cute designs. I have the blue lantern from 2 years ago and it even passed my husband's inspection. I was surprised at how often it comes in handy. May have to buy more.

**Good for you putting together an all weather vehicle emergency kit. You never know what Mama Earth's gonna throw at you in the way of weather. We've seen it all from TX hurricanes, to mid-Atlantic & ND ice, snow, & blizzards to OK tornadoes to CA quakes & small tsunamis. Great job following the Scout motto to "Be Prepared"👍! ( PS some of the various lights in your haul would be excellent additions to your kit-magnetic for under the hood, lantern that you could use as a warning light in the road to alert people your car's ahead, etc.
**Re your clear jars with twine, I put fake candles with timers in mine & hang them outside in trees/bushes or on the front porch or on an outdoor table. Gives a really pretty glow when the weather warms up.

If you put the flashlight in your car, put the top battery in upside down so any jostling it gets won't turn it on and run the battery out. Also did this with all my flashlights when my children were young and thought flashlights were the best toys!
Spray your light bulbs. Every time you turn on light it will help make your smell nice. I do it at least once a month
But you need to test spray nozzle to see if it works!😊
My DT went up to $1.25 by third week in January, but we have no plus section, yet... Nice haul, Jamie! Cute cat toys! I love cute socks, too!! All weather emergency kit for the car is a good idea. I also keep a blanket in my car as I live up North. Good to have it in the winter!! The sandwich board chalkboard is cute! Gotta look for that! The hanging lantern was neat! Our church donates socks, hats, gloves to shelters. Also, don't forget nursing homes. Some impoverished residents can not afford necessities such as toiletries etc. Call your local to see if they need donations. We need to care for each other.
