Thank you, i really enjoy making the soil substrates as I say not really viable on a large scale but it’s pretty cool having grown the tree made the pot and trying to create soil mix out of raw materials and to some junk!

Yes you are very lucky to have such a cool greenhouse to help you overwinter. I use the microclimate and leaves for mine. I figure the strongest will survive for me and then go from there in spring.

I’m very lucky to have use of such a brilliant structure maybe my last season in here tho! Mine will be living out side next winter but given the right soil and deep enough pot most the species I grow should survive a British winter. I’m out in the sticks a bit here so we can get -5/-8 but that’s about as bad as it gets this neck of the woods. I hope all your projects pull through
