Hi friends! I have an exciting new release to review for you all today. This is the NEW Wild Star collection from Isamaya Beauty. I am going to be reviewing the Wild Star Pressed Pigment Palette, the Luckykiss Diamond Glow Lipstick in Buck, and the Lash Lasso Lash Wrap Mascara. I will be doing lots of swatches and 3 looks with this collection to help you figure out if there's anything you want to pick up!

Hi friends! I just found out that this palette is now more internationally available through Selfridges and also Moda Operandi! My links in the description box have been updated to reflect the availability so those of you who couldn't order it before now have access.
I was looking forward to getting this palette but didn’t have a shipping notice two days before Christmas and they’d had my order for well over a month at that point so I canceled it. No regrets. It was really annoying to see all the parties on the brand’s IG with people being gifted palettes but they couldn’t bother to ship to a paying customer.
Yikes. I am sorry to hear that! I was bummed that there were pop ups but they were only in LA unfortunately. I am not a huge fan of pre-orders. I think maybe better to just launch when it's ready even if it has to be a little delayed :)

I managed to get this palette early from their LA pop up and made a few videos with it. I also prefer industrial but I see this as a more approachable palette so I appreciate having such different selections.

Great review! I’m not a stan but her brand turns my head each time! Every collection is well thought out and gives me the felling that when you own a piece it’s “special”. I haven’t felt or seen that in a long time with beauty. Can you just imagine plucking out that horse lipstick from your purse ?! It’s both kitschy and a work of art. What a great convo starter 😂. I’m interested in the lippy, need to rethink the palette but over all I always look forward to what she comes out with.

I can attest it's a conversation starter! It's so fun and the product itself is stellar. I have to add, the horsehead did separate from the lipstick cover, but was easily fixed with glue. That didn't stop me from ordering another lipstick color from the collection.
the palette packaging is my fav, especially bc it can be reused. but agreed that the lippie formula / colors look 😍. haven’t gotten anything yet. was waiting for your review and assessing whether this will be one of the items i buy this season as i’m limiting purchases in 2023, especially eyeshadows 😝

I ordered everything since this just spoke to me when I watched her campaign. All the lipstick colors are bomb! And so flattering! The highlighter is pretty cool too for that glass look

Would you say the highlighter is like the Chanel baume?
@@celinag9968 I would say they are pretty comparable but let me swatch them side by side and get back to you with my findings ☺️
@@celinag9968 okay so I swatched two of the Chanel baumes I thought would be similar. Pearlescent is way more glittery and opaque and Sculpting is similar but a little more opaque as well. The Isamaya highlighter is almost invisible but there is very fine shimmer through out and really seamless. They are all beautiful. Isamaya highlighter feels like it sets more than the Chanel Baume. Hope that helps a little. I’m glad I have them all because they provide different looks to the skin.
Yay, I'm so glad you did a review!, thank you I was able to get the eye palette & a lipstick at her pop-up. I love this collection and have been using it constantly as a boring brown/glitter gal. The lipstick/balm is amazing and I ordered another color with no regrets. The pigments work well with the lip products, including her Black Veil gloss. Isamaya isn't for everyone, but she definitely stands out from everything else being released.
Agree! I love having fun with makeup and this was super fun for me. I like participating in her collections almost like when you get something from a designer collection you really like

I really appreciate her commitment to bringing unique collections to the market and the story they tell. The sparkly lip is a vibe! I love it but I don’t love the horse packaging. Also, now I can’t unsee the Tarte packaging LOL

I noticed the Tarte Make Believe in Yourself packaging right a way. And of course I can not unsee it. Lol! I also find the packaging too light and plasticky for the price of the palette. It should not have been encased in plastic and it needed to have more weight/heft to it. The plastic packaging has a very cheap children’s makeup vibe to it. Even Tarte’s component was better made and had a weighted feel of quality.
I was waiting for your review!! Oh my gosh, how I love the looks you made! I actually love the packaging. It is tacky, tongue in cheek, like Madonna’s pop country but make it Versace kinda moment. It also reminds me of the installation outside the Denver airport, it’s a blue mustang with red possessed eyes!
I’m skipping the eye palette, just cause I cannot with pink anymore. Although I was pleasantly surprised with how gorgeous the nuance of them was and how wearable you made them. I am probably only going to grab a lipstick or 2 when I order some Suqqu later in the month. I love the soft metallic high shine formula.

Yay! Great review Sofia! I don't prefer this eyeshadow color story, but I love her Industrial palette. I've been wanting the lipsticks. They remind me of the Byredo shimmering lipsticks that came out when she was with them!

I've been waiting for this review. Really gorgeous looks! I bought the eye shadow on a whim before Xmas and it came straight away, which was a great surprise! It makes my heart skip whenever I open it. I love the packaging and think the shadows are really special and create something quite unique!

I’m a fan of the new palette. The component isn’t my favorite, but the color story speaks to me along with the formulations. I also ordered the dazzle stick, but it wasn’t for me at all. I’m not sure why I purchased a glittery balm for the body. Luckily, you didn’t purchase it! Thank you for another wonderful review.

I loved all three looks on you, especially the first one. And that lipstick is just bomb! I dont like the packaging but I love the color and it’s something I don’t already own. Like another person said, I too will wait a little bit and if I’m still thinking about it. I will grab it. I’m now curious to see how the other colors look on people. Great review, Sofia!

I love watching you create looks with vibrant palettes because you do such “wearable” looks more like how I would want to create looks. I love all 3 looks and they are all so different. This palette is gorgeous on you. I really, really don’t like that Patrick Ta glitter formula. I’m so glad you said that because it makes it easier to pass on this palette and use your gorgeous 3 looks for inspiration with palettes I already have.
BUT THAT LIP. Oh wow. I LOVED it so much. Ooohhh it’s pricey, but so stunning. I want it. But I’m going to think about it and if I’m still feeling obsessed about it in a week, I’m going to go for it. It’s taking all of my will to not just go for it now, but I’m going to show restraint.
Does glitter remain on your lips as it wears off? (I’m sure it does, but I am trying to think of reasons not to get it. But I have several Pat McGrath glittery lip glosses and I love them so it’s not a deal breaker!)
I like your approach Lisa! I do the same thing. I kind of let it chill for a bit and then if I still really want it then I will order it. I don't find that as the lipstick wears, it leaves a layer of glitter on the lips. It kind of just feels like it has dried down and worn away like any other lipstick

Loved all 3 looks. Was most interested in the purple shade but it seemed underwhelming. Just find her brand so interesting so hopefully she releases something that really captivates me.

Hi dear Sofia, thanks another beautiful video!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩Living in The Netherlands, Selfridges is still out of my reach since Brexit, don't know why, and this company delivers only in the USA i saw. But looks beautiful on you, and a sort of Patrick Ta formula, i would love it, but more the first colourstory, her first release than. @@SofiaSeesBeauty yes, there is makeup enough, Sofia, but would be nice, when it was available in Europe, not Selfridges but Europe, especially that first palette! But still have to many eyeshadows although i gave away quite some who hurted my eyes to much, almost all my PMG/ND/SG shadows, no regrets. There is Suqqu, there is so much more!
And that lipstick is a stunner! I love a good brown Lippie but they are hard to find! May have to pick this one up

Hey Sofia! Thank you for reviewing Isamaya. After I watched your video, I decided to take the plunge and order the Buck lipstick and the gloss from the Industrial collection. I wanted to like this new palette but every time I see it, I immediately think of Tarte Rainforest of the Sea palettes. The outer packaging is amazing though. 🤩

You are a sheer delight to watch! Luv your reviews. I agree the lipstick is awesome for all the reasons you shared. The horse packaging drew me in. I’m enjoying the mascara as well (compared to the industrial version) but it’s not worth sticking up in at that price. Glad I skipped the eyeshadow. I need to use what I have in my extensive collection.

I’ve been waiting for your review for 84 years….. 👵🏻💎🚢 Even though I want the tchotchke I’m telling myself I have the viseart chouchette palette and the other little colorful one and I never use them. I think I’m going to get the lipstick in Outlaw. How does Buck compare (in shade and formula) to Merit 1990?
ooo I think that is one of the Merit shades that I don't have yet. But formula -wise they feel pretty different. The Isamaya ones have more of a hydrating and slick feel as opposed to the Merit which feel more waxy.
Sophia!!!!! I was very excited to see your video! I was wondering this morning if anyone would review this collection. I saw her CZcams 4-5minute intro video about this collection a few weeks ago. I was wowed by it for sure! I used to live in Texas and I think she got the vibe pretty well. If you get the other 2 lipsticks, could you put swatches up on your Instagram account please? I am eyeing the lightest shade. You talked about the dustiness of the eyeshadows. Isn’t that Texas though? Not all of Texas is dry, but a lot of it is. Most of the West is very dry and dusty. I can totally see those eyeshadow colors when O was a teenager used by myself and my friends. I think she got the vibe really well. How one likes that vibe is a different question all together. Yes for sure I'll do like a lip swatch Reel on Insta if I get the other colors! Haha I don't think they are dusty 😂😂 but some of the glittery ones are soft so I have to be careful with them. It's one of those things where they can be finicky but then when I look back at the footage and photos I'm like oooo sparkle! 😍
I really wanted to get the palette after seeing your swatches and your gorgeous eye looks! I love the iridescence of the lid shadows. But come to find out they do not ship outside the U.S. What! 😩 I live in Canada. Humf! I’m so surprise in this global economy and where most brands think global that Isamaya didn’t launch that way. I find that quite strange and irregular. 🤔🧐

You look great in all of these. But this website doesn't accept returns for products if they've been opened. I won't buy makeup that way. Price points have gotten too high. From a business standpoijnt, with all of this fancy packaging, I get it. But, as a customer, I won't take the risk. Thanks for the review. You look gorgeous in all of this. I especially love the lipstick. But, for $50, without the ability to try on before purchasing? No thanks. Great video!💚
That is a very valid concern Deborah and I am sure that a lot of other consumers feel that way. I think some of the smaller brands can't afford to handle the returns so as a result there will be some who just prefer not to take the risk

Hi Sophia. I was watching your Flora Byredo review. You mentioned Byredo’s Prismic palette. I googled Byredo’s Primic palette, and there was a picture of that palette and the Wild Star Palette. The colors looked identical! Would it be possible to swatch the colors that look identical from both palettes? Thank you Sophia!
Interesting, you think so? I think those palettes are very different. The Prismic palette doesn’t have any browns or neutrals

I’ve worn this dozens of times and ever had fallout, I wonder how much skin type and primer effect that.
Do you use the shadows wet when you apply them?
@@SofiaSeesBeauty nope. I have used glitter glue but usually I just use the urban decay primer under my shadows and that’s it.

It is a black eyeshadow. Can certainly be used as a liner if you add some water! 😊
It’s a beautiful palette but why is there a warning not to use the bright Magenta shade around the eye area. 😮 So far only one reviewer mentioned it, and everyone else is using it on their eye. Hope it’s not dangerous for your eyes. ❤
Because it’s a “pigment” and not an “eyeshadow”. In the US we have certain ingredients that aren’t FDA approved for the eye area but they are approved oversees. The FDA is super behind in testing so by law the company has to include that disclaimer

I went to go buy this collection along with the Industrial 1.0 by clicking your link but it goes to some other page that says it's sold out. I was just on the Isayma website because I just purchased the 2.0 plus all 3 lip glosses then was kicking myself for not ordering the other two palettes so I watched your review videos on them because I heard that that Industrial 1.0 had issues with hardpan and quality issues but I wanted to see what you would say because you always give a honest review. I don't know why it's saying sold out through your link when on their website I can purchase it? I was going to purchase through your link to support your channel because I enjoy your content so much.

Oh noooo, like...what happened?! The vibe of her previous collection seemed so fresh and different - but...in a good way. 😅😂 This goes the other way. I am really, really trying to not be mean but I keep staring at it thinking this can't be a real release, with the gold glitz and the red eyes on the horse etc. Zero to do with you ofc (just to make sure that part is clear!!), but strictly about the collection... what an eyesore, holy molyyy !!! 😅😂

I like all the 3 looks of yours. Hmm... I can only afford one collection from her and was some in between this one and Industrial one in therms of trying out the brand etc. So, in your opinion Industrial is better? :) I have similar skin tone like you but I have hooded and small eyes so I'm not sure if I can pull of the Industrial pallete... What do you think?😬 Please help! 😅
Only get the industrial palette if you like to do smokey or grungy looks. I think anyone can pull it off it just depends on your style 🙂

They only ship to the US currently. The last collection was available at Selfridges but I am not sure why it hasn't launched there yet
It's a skip for me. I'm not fond of the packaging/theme, but moreover it's too expensive for me not to love both the formulas and the packaging!
