Thanks a million for watching and commenting. I've had family there my whole life, so it was a no-brainer to share of the great hot spots. Take care :)
Wow! I only just saw this! That jellyfish is pretty! But I’d prob freak out swimming near it. (i don’t know why I have this fear of jellyfish LOL) Nice underwater video! Would love to see more of em too!! 👍
FJF thanks a million for watching. I truly appreciate it. You are correct, it is sketchy swimming with jellyfish, but if you are cautious there's no worries. Also, they won't sting the palms of your hands or soles of your feet. The underwater footage is fun to make, especially when it comes out good. My next episode I have some more. Until next time, tight lines & good vibes
Captain, thanks for stopping by and watching. The Florida Keys most definitely are a bucket list item. I hope you get the chance to come down. This was just Key Largo, and there is so much more than what I showed, there lower keys are just as unique and exciting to visit. The manatees are always a nice surprise, they are like big puppy dogs, any leaking water they will stay and drink for hours, the GoPro has enabled me to get some great underwater shots and share a different perspective. Glad you liked the video. Until next time, tight lines & good vibes.
Thanks a million for watching. You can pretty much travel the maze of little creeks and never go down the same path twice, to give you a visual of how vast this area is. Great for the family. There's a museum there too. Hope you had a wonderful turkey day. Stay warm. Until next time, tight lines & good vibes
Great tips Heath, I was the meat manager there A few years back. Boy that's when I was having way to much fun lol, You and the kids keep having fun and I will catch up to you folks soon. I have a pool and a yard to catch up on here ugh lol
Robert, Thanks for taking time to watch. I can only imagine you are trying to recovery from that awesome trip to Indian Lagoon. It was really hard to pick the spots I wanted to showcase, because there's so much to show and so little time to do it in. I decide to take a visitor approach and go for the landmarks. And, likewise, I have a long list of stories from hanging out there growing up. My grandmother lives on Largo Sound so, luckily I've this slice of paradise at my disposal my entire life. Hope you get settled back in soon, say "Hi" to Kim. Until next time, tight lines & good vibes.
missing South Florida this time of year, we just had a destructive ice storm run through our area this week, brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, we were out of power for approximately 16-17 hrs...…………………..looks like you all were having a great Thanksgiving holiday, keep the videos coming, love seeing you and the kids
@@SouthFloridaSaltwaterFishing Hey Heath, we are finally beginning to thaw out, but Monday we are once again looking at freezing weather...…………….miss you all, love ya
Thanks for watching and asking a great question. Marathon is tricky. I know a great place to stay is the BueGreen resort. The rooms are small apartments, and the have a great pool area with a water slide. Bud and Mary's world famous marina is there too, if you're looking for world class fishing, hit them up for a charter. You can also head north a little to Islamorada, they have a great art district with places like "The Theatre of the Sea" and The Rain Barrel". Hope this helps. Thanks again for your support of the channel. Enjoy you vacation :)
Great video! Cute kids! This is just what I was looking for in a Key Largo video , as I love to snorkel! The manatees were a surprise treat to see on your video! My only question is, as I’ll be going in October, are there many shark sightings? Thank you!
Hello Kathryn, first thanks for watching and giving some great positive feedback. I really appreciate it. Next, sharks... they swim in the ocean. Honestly though they are nothing to worry about. I grew up snorkeling, scuba diving and surfing up and down the coast of southeast Florida. At most, you might see a nurse shark, which is just like a big puppy dog. hope this helps :)
Hi Heath, Looks like you had a very Happy Thanksgiving. Thanks for the tour. It's been 7-1/2 years since we visited the Keys. It was 28 degrees here in South Jersey, on Thanksgiving Day. Thanks, Mickey
Hey Mickey, thanks for taking time to watch, 28° is colder than my freezer, i don't know how you do it, I'm definitely a tropical creature, other than it being cold i hope you had a wonderful turkey day, until next time, stay warm, tight lines & good vibes
Thanks a million for watching & commenting. You are correct. So, when I was filming and developing the story behind the episode, I had to choose a target audience, which happens to be 1st time visitors. That being said, there's also so many choices of place to go and things to do, that I had to limit what I was showcasing otherwise, I could go on for hours. This really is just the tip of the iceberg. Who knows, maybe one day I'll do a sequel and I'll have to include your choice as a an option for choice dining in the area. Take care. Until next time, tight lines & good vibes.
Good tutorial of key largo Capt Heath while down go hit largo hump troll and vertical jig with stars SFSF GIRLS for pelagics my son and i r going in morning out to pacific light house reef fishing pennycamp got a great boat ramp (can launch 25ft plus no problem) just long channel to idle through Everybody have good Thanksgiving and long weekend JT 🙏🏻🇺🇸🎣🐟🌴🍗
Hey John thanks for watching. Definitely gonna try to get out and get some fishing in. Been the largo & islamorada humps many times, some stellar fishing, you are correct the girls would love it. Hope you had a wonderful turkey day. Good luck fishing. Until next time, tight lines & good vibes
Are you sure that fishing is not permitted on Adams Cut? I've seen guys fishing it on other videos, opposite the U-Haul depot and was intending to give it a try when we go in January.
You are correct.. If you are talking about fishing from land. You can't fish from the Adams cut bridge but off to the sides you. You'll just have to deal with boat traffic at times and the current rips when it's half through a tide cycle. But fishing from a boat is risking a citation. Regardless. Good luck & tight lines... PS... thanks for the sub :)
Great video I lived there 13 years but it’s been a long time since I have been there all my favorite stops . Nice little girls thanks for the post .

We're planning on going out Sunday. May have to do a one-on-one challenge. Stay safe my friend.
I'll be watching.
Thanks Mickey, I can't wait to get out. Hopefully, it's another memorable day for the girls.
