- Hey everyone! Merit recently released an expansion to their Signature Lipsticks and added matte finishes! Today we are swatching all 8 brand new shades on the lips and I talk you through all my thoughts on this formulation. I also compared some of the matte shades to their existing satin shades!

MY SHADES:
Typically I'm in the medium shade range with neutral undertones. These are the shades I've used in the past, but they may vary since I do get very tan in the summer and lose a lot of color in the colder months. It just depends on when I've tried them!

usually I don't enjoy more white-based, almost neon-y shades like these, but I feel like they've done a really good job of making even the brighter shades just muted enough to be "wearable". I thought all the shades looked nice on you!

I have been preferring sheer satin lips over trendy sheer glossy ones. Glossy can be too much, satin looks effortless. I just ordered Merit Millenial. If you have any other suggestions please share. I'll pass on the mattes, they are a dime a dozen.
