Looks like a nice class B, but I think you did a disservice to it by not setting up the bed correctly. I suggest for future videos doing a dry run to figure out how stuff works before starting to film.
I find it hard to believe that they went to all that trouble and not have a bed that would fit an average size person.
Can't believe they'd sacrifice all that pizza oven space to stick a TV in. We just got rid of our Travato G and downsized to a Solis Pocket at a couple of months ago to get rid of all those extra things we never used like TV, stereo, generator. It's about camping!
But I really like the big fridge in this. That's the only thing I miss from the Travato, although I really like the placement of the Pocket's fridge, which is accessible from outside. The microwave is too high to be useful - we put a chest high micro in the Pocket. If you're short, a high microwave like that is just a recipe for scalding yourself.
I agree with you about the cloth seats. That's another thing I was happy to leave behind when we sold the Travato. I never thought they were all that comfortable and I was always worried about the impractical white ultra leather getting stained. Nice awning with the strut options.
Light, roomy, pretty well thought out. A worthy entry all in all. 👍
For the price it doesn’t offer much. Small useless bed, no tankless hot water, no propane hookup. The toilet by the way is called a cassette toilet. For weekends and it works better than tanks you have to dump at a dump station every time you use the van.A good idea not well executed. Just another variation on the same theme. Yawn
Jayco just came out with an identical van, the Comet
18C. A video of it that I saw yesterday shows the bed properly deployed. The seat by the refrigerator unfolds to fill in the rest of the space by the sliding door. The final bed is about 54" x 72" if I remember correctly.
@@TrishBenedictI guess everyone has different opinions because I like the TV placement. It is tucked away nicely. You might not see any use for a TV but some do. If you’re having bad weather, it would be nice to rest and watch a good movie. 🤷🏻♀️
And a convection microwave would be a great addition. I love having the TV in the van.
I like the fabric upholstery vs vinyl.
No built-in cooktop at the counter but I have read there is a portable induction cooktop stored on board.

ThankYou for demonstrating that a person can’t lay down in the 54” long bed vertically. However a short person can lay down diagonally with the bed pulled out horizontally to 54” incompletely. I just may do that. However, the bed does extend another 18” horizontally making a total of 72” across. All you have to do is flip the hinged board that’s underneath the cushion. And it will be supported on the jump seat and cup holder as well as the fold out steel legs. I hope you can film that part again or edit that demonstration into this video. Great video. Thanks for demonstrating how you fit in the bed in different positions and configurations.
Yes I did post a couple weeks after this video. I redeemed myself this year at the Tampa show!! My mistake. Too bad I can't go back and edit it once posted!
Manufacturers need to come up with a way to incorporate the swivel seats into the bed. Also tv takes up way too much storage space in this size footprint, a smaller screen that could be viewed from the swivel seats would be more practical.
TV is perfect and gets out of the way, plenty of storage in this kid, just need to upgrade to lithium batteries. AGM and an induction cook top don't mix.

Wow, sold on it until you got tonthe bed. I'm 6 2. I wonder if drivers seat would swing around for more room to stretch out that way.

Regarding the hilarity of ‘strolling’ with 5 gallons of sewage, one could use the regular dump station for it, but the modular portability of it does offer other options. People might think about it weighing 40 pounds when it’s full. 😜

I've driven by the Casselberry dealership many times but never stopped. If I do stop by, I'll ask for you. I think many people choose the smaller class B's for the versatility of using it for events, so they really don't want a black tank. They won't be going to any campgrounds so they won't have a place to dump it. Cassette toilets solve that problem. Yeah, that bed isn't much, but you won't be full timing it here. It might be good for a single parent. How about the seatbelts? That extra seat? I was thinking that would be a good place for a car seat but you didn't mention if it had seatbelts. I really wish they had put a captains chair there since it doesn't seem to be a part of the bed. Thanks for sharing.

No because that isn't true. It does not utilize the seat or the add on table if you look at the floor plan model image on their website

There must b a way to make that bed bigger to sleep in. Otherwise u cant call that an Rv. Its just a glorified van with a toilet n mini kitchen😅
Would make a great daily driver if they included Lithium battery (no generator) and safety package, specially, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), and finally, at least one additional seat belt with enough comfort for a third rider for long rides. Winnebago 36B solves most of these problems, but they screwed up as well by not including ACC. Looks like none of them have interest in offering that perfect package :)
The cassette toilet is easier to dump, don't need to find a station, any toilet will do (gas stations).
The whole idea of having a camper is to sleep in. You can shower/use a restroom in most campgrounds; go out to eat in a pinch; but you need a good nights sleep when on the road.
No mention of A/C This is a $100k fail.
This is a huge waste of money . Ugly, no storage, waste of minimal space. Can say enough bad about it.
Yes, the bed, the bed. It comes out more towards your big sliding glass door to exit the van so you can lay down on it like a normal person. Try to set that up before you do the video.

The website says the bed is 54x72 so there must be a different way to arrange it. And you showed an A/C but didn’t mention the brand/type….?

This could be an amazing camper van if it had some different options. Solar panels and lithium batteries are a must. No generator or propane. The bed could be set up better. Add a washer/dryer combo and this van would be a hit. Thank you for the tour.

She says she likely didn't have it pulled out the correct way? Huh? It looks pulled out to me unless the little seat pulls out towards the front. Some seller/shower she is if she couldn't see that. Either way it still looks very cramped for a taller person. I'm short so I'd fit on the bed lol

There's an induction cooktop
cassette toilet has always been a deal breaker for me. there is always the option of a dry flush or composting toilet.
Unfortunately no other option as of today. Hopefully they will change that in the future!
Love the design, but you can't have an induction cook top and not have lithium batteries. Even Winnebago figured that one out, and they are the slowest of the slow.

What most reviews fail to tell everybody, a full cassette can weigh between 45 to 50 pounds.
Or more for people who are too lazy to dump. Then blame the manufacturer.

Nice presentation but you should know your product before presenting it, the bed situation does not sound right, a couple of other things did nto sound right

Shame! I love the placement and size of the TV. I love even the small sitting spot but I don’t appreciate the placement of the larger sofa/bed. I think the kitchen should’ve been there and the sofa should’ve been where the sink is. 🤷🏻♀️ If they were placed the other way around, it would’ve been a game changer for me but unfortunately I think the layout should’ve been thought out better so this is going to have to be a NO for me!

@@RVswithGabbyI’m also disappointed with the kitchenette. I was trying to stay away from Thor but even their Rize and Scope offer better features and a more proper cooking area. That kitchenette isn’t much of a kitchenette.

All reviewers show how easy it is to handle and dump when the toilet cassette is empty, would love to see these same people remove, lift out, and pickup and dump a full cassette. Not that easy?

Bad bed design, they should've incorporate that little seat by the main door onto the bed, which serves no purpose otherwise... it can't compete with Winnebago Solis Pocket B

With the new information that you didn't deploy the bed properly, you need to redo your video. It's not fair to imply the rv does not have a proper bed because you couldn't figure it out. Do the honorable thing and fix your video. Maybe it's not such a bad rv after all?
I can't. This was a show that was a "prototype" model. I even wrote at the bottom of the video "I don't think I did this right" if people can't understand that I tried my best I don't know what to tell them?

I wonder that why people would spend $100K+ on RV. You can pay for kids education, buy a business, pay off significant amount of mortgage for home. Even build a simple livable home for two, invest in 401K or IRA for retirement. How many Americans really afford it this?
Hi Link, I understand what you're saying but they won't put a dinette option because they offer a table under the couch standard. That would be wasted space if there was two dinettes.
