I could not ignore them anymore. So here is my interpretation: The obssesive thoughts, sleepless nights and fear of rejection is what really hurts and blocks me. This is not the solution. We are stuck in our own indecision. We think withdrawal is best, as now we are separate from each other, but we don't feel confortable. Solitude is not what we really want and we are sabotaging us by not talking to each other. There is hope, light (the hermit) if only we could see, get up, stop the overthinking, stop the "what if" and give us a chance. The fear of rejection is the showstopper for moving forward. I am afraid that my new love interest ends now, because he moved to another city, but what if I just imagine the worst scenario possible when the reality is different. I may make the situation more dramatic than it actually is. He seems to have obssesive thoughts as well. Is he scared and uncertain as well of the current state of our relationship? Is he confused? Authentic and sincere, deep communication is required to move forward. Overcoming fear. No matter where this leads. To the end of our relationship or to the end as we know it now.
