Quotes deeper than the mariana trench:
"The world is a banquet of knowledge, and everyone's brought a dish to the table"
"I am a mosaic of everyone I've ever loved, even for a heartbeat"
"it's you two vs the problem, not you vs him"
I had 3 sons and no "exra" money but I had extra space for any child who needed a place to sleep and a shower. They all ended up graduating high school and we all watched them cross the stage. One of these people ended up staying with us forever and he has become a brother and son we all love!
This mean ol' world needs more people like you, Peg! What a wonderful, loving home you've created!
Whenever a boy broke my heart, my grandpa would tell me “they are overlooking an orchid looking for a rose“ looking back now, I remember why I loved him so much ❤️
Orchids are rarer and more exotic so in terms of value they are indeed more precious. Your grandpa is also such an orchid, a class of his own
0:53 I once saw this one quote at a hotel in Canada that said, "when you are more fortunate than others build a bigger table, not a higher fence."
I love that sentiment! It's the kind of truth we need right now to heal our sick world. I think Pope Frankie even quoted this! There's actually another sentence after that:
"If you are more fortunate than others, build a longer table not a taller fence. Whatever it may be, whether you have more wealth than someone else, more knowledge than someone else, a deeper education and so on, welcome more people into your life and spread your influence."
thank you, I didn't know there was more to that.@@LazyIRanch
@@ironvulture2015 I didn't either until recently. I looked it up because I couldn't remember the exact quote and was happy to find it's an even better quote than I thought!
agreed@@LazyIRanch
I desperately needed to see a basket of baby otters. Thank you.
Wow man thanks for that...the farmer one had me in tears
I agree…I wanna hear that whole story
Amen!
You might like reading about "Penny Auctions" from the Great Depression era.
@@ed45acp I HIGHLY recommend you watch a movie from 2005 called "Sweet Land". It's one of my top 5 favorite movies of all time. It's based on a book that was written about true events that occured during WWI era. There is a scene in the movie that basically is THIS! Even my "tough" son was weeping during that scene!
I don't want to say too much since I already gave that spoiler away, but it's a truly beautiful movie. It got critical acclaim, but since it has no car chases, or explosions, no torture scenes, and no monsters; it's not a movie for most moviegoers under age 30. I think for older folks like me who have had some crazy life experiences, it's like a roller coaster for the heart, but in a good way. Very uplifting kind of movie.
It reminds me so much of my German great-grandparents who imigrated to Texas @ 1880, and survived so much hardship but built the foundation for our family. They weren't accepted at first either. When I looked up their census records, I found that during WWI, they gave Americanized versions of their names to the census taker. Some houses and buildings in their tiny German farm community were burned down because of hate.
Instead of my G-Grandfather giving his true name, Karl Friedrich, the name on the census is "Carl Frederick". My great grandmother, Julianna (which is a beautiful name!) was shortened to "Julia". Their 12 children's names were all Americanized too.
Same. I live rural & a friend has a family member wreaking havoc. The legal battles have been enough to kill from stress so Idk how he's alive, frankly. The family business has to be sold. Perhaps the family farm (their home for generations) as well. An old man (friend if theirs) who rents is being put out. Those working at the business are all losing their jobs. (Happy Holidays everyone!)
It seems the ones insisting on all this haven't thought through the impact they're having. While I'm sure they don't care about everyone else, I have to wonder what THEIR lives are going to be like from now on.
Thank goodness for good people & positive videos. Some people ought to be dropped off on an island somewhere & have to endure each other's back stabbing ways.
Canadian here, I witnessed the farmers near Scobey Montana do the same thing at a farm auction back in 85, lots of equipment and everyone stayed silent.
Equipments left behind by the previous owner or a parent? That was such a bittersweet but honourable thing to do. Everyone knew everyone.
@@MollyHJohns I believe it was a divorce.
the farmer auction is very uplifting, but i love the female o.a.p being lifted by the laughing fireman= saucy little imp, made me chuckle too.
I used to have an aunt like her! I never knew what she was going to say. My mom was kind of prim and proper so her little sister, the "wild thing", loved to embarrass her. It was just like the "Bucket" sisters on "Keeping Up Appearances".
Aunt Erkie (it was pronounced "anarchy" which was fitting) used to give my boyfriends a little pinch on the butt, but they always seemed to think she was adorable and didn't mind. One guy kissed her on the lips, and not like ya kiss your grandmother! I told him, "Oh great! She's never going to stop pinching butt cheeks now!"
I miss them all so much.
I’m with Owl at the library. We live in a world of wonder. It’s fun to learn new things!
I love the richer than I realize, with all the modern conveniences. So true. We all tend to forgot that occasionally.
The auction farmers are truly great people! 😀👍
" I am mosaic of everyone I have loved." Haven't found the words to put my thoughts out. That quote right there says it all.
"The world is a banquet of knowledge, and everyone's brought a dish to the table." That. Is. Beautiful. ❤
This was so uplifting to see. Sometimes I forget that the world is an awesome place but this is a great reminder. Thank you ❤
If you must have a rooster make it a banty..bantys are the best! Every other rooster that ive ever owned or known was an evil effer...but bantys are awesome. I had a chicken that got so old she went daft and couldnt remember how to eat or when to roost..her banty boyfriend took care of her.. encouraging her with clucks and head bobs when there was food..and ushering her to the pen at night.❤ RIP Lucky😢
More, this is what the world needs. Thanks for the positive vibes.
why did Emma's note about shooting hoops give me all the feels?? So damn sweet.
1:35 Life Lesson: Always hold up the 4th kitten.
I hope that mom comes back and adopts a couple of those kitties when they are old enough. I gave my son a kitten when he turned seven. He took such good care of that baby, and it's probably the best thing I ever gave him, because he needed a true friend. Puff kitty lived 18 years. My son had just come home from serving in the Navy and I'm glad Puff waited for him. He died in my son's arms.
@@LazyIRanch Oh wow. RIP Puff baby!
The sea urchins in hats made my week!
Very uplifting content! Music lovely and calming.
Great tip about anxious thoughts, thank you.
0:16 - Awwwwww! 🌹
0:29 - ❤❤❤
2:59 - ❤
7:10 - I never thought of sea urchins as cute before now.
9:15 - OMG, the colors!!!!
One of the best videos on this channel. It's uplifting, humor without the put down. Especially loved the one about the cattle auction
This might be my favorite video of all time. Amazing collection that just made my day. Thank you.
Never needed this more. Thank you. More please.
The homework one brought me right back to when my oldest son was in school.
Excellent. Many thanks. This is my favorite among all of your videos that I have viewed.
The greatest name I've ever seen on a boat "BOAT".
Nice collection that I have not seen before. The music was great! Length of the video was just right. Nice job! 🔥
The slice of ham.. one for the dog and one for you ❤
I share apples this way with my dog. Good times.
The unsinkable 2! It’s so stupid but I love it.
I needed this so badly. My heart thanks you❤
5:56 The birds are paying for the seeds. It's an offer. They will accept a counter offer if you have one.
2:19 is beautiful and heartfelt. Bet she is, too.
I’ve been thinking about her comment and your follow up since yesterday. I think both of you have nailed true beauty and value. Having an open heart to other’s ideas, seeing goodness, learning from each other, etc. it really makes a difference for our contentment when we approach life and each other in this way.
That auction trick is really old. Back in the day the bank wouldn’t send an employee to make an offer because he would get his ass kicked or worse but I don’t know why they wouldn’t do that today.
The auction trick wouldn't work now because we no longer have tight-knit communities that would be caring enough to do this for a family in their midst. Nowadays, a Chinese "investor" would just send one of their flunkies to the auction to take advantage of a family's heartbreak.
Luna looks so proud.
I always feel better after watching your videos 🙂
Thank you for this!❤
Roosters PR game is on point.
Thanks a lot, God bless you. Your best video!
Queen Ash:. I couldn't agree more!
Thank you❤❤❤😊😊😊
Thank you Happy Land. Exquisite!
At 6:07, probably corvids (crows or jays). They are thanking you, and, no you do not need to eat the rubber bands, but take them inside so the birds think you appreciated their "gifts'.
I never knew that baby otters look like newborn rottweilers!
Absolutely.
This helped a lot. Thank you
I really needed this. Thanks.
Wow.AAAWWW!These photos /moments so sweet.:_)😀
Yeah, that candy corn is SAFE!
LOL. The irony is that that is a corn snake, a vemomless constrictor than helps reduce the rat and mouse population.
thx...i needed that 🙂
Thank you so very much 🌷🧸🌷
Feeling nauti 🤭⚓🛥😄
❤
Thank you..needed this xx
This is wonderful, thank you.
That was so good. Thank you!
Awwwwww
6:05 But where do the birds get those elastic bands from?!?
Do you know why i like biden? Bec he has this old school grandpa grandpa vibes, like this video. He will be weird, bec of the generation gap. But he's like a grandpa that gives you weird, good vibes. I miss my grandpa. How is it grandpas like saying quotes? 🤭
Biden is a nice guy. 👍👍
Needed this after the depressing news of genocide in Gaza. Thanks!
Praise God for Israel! They will always prevail because they are God’s chosen!
That's nonsense. And what are the other human beings in your God's eyes? Chopped lettuce?
Hospitals,@@sharonhutchins5784? Children! Hubris, Sharon, hubris.

They WERE (PAST tense) God's chosen til they killed His Son. (See Matthew 23: 37-38) (Also Acts 10:34-35, 2 Peter 3:9, Psalm 11:5, Psalm 7:16)

First! and pin?
If the farmer had the money he should have just paid the debt! Instead of going thru all this!
We don't actually know if he had the money or not.
He obviously didn't! I guess it was a compulsory auction, where the items are mostly offered for a far lower price than the actual value. If no one bid a higher price, the farmer could have been able to buy his farm back for just the money he had
He had very little money but his buddies wanted him to get his farm back so his bid was the only one voiced... they gave him back his livelihood. What a wonderful group of friends.
@@heikerosenau1520 Nah if it didnt meet the required amount they would have passed it in knowing it was a set up they would find a buyer! thats how auctions work! But there would have a been silent bidder anyway so this whole story is BS!
@@danquaylesitsspeltpotatoe8307I used to actually perform foreclosure auctions, so I know that you are probably right, but why be a buzzkill?
