Beautiful cards. Another faux way is to take your die cut and put another piece of paper behind it (instead of dry embossing) and run it through the big shot. The two papers will ‘press’ together giving a similar look. I hope this makes sense.

I’m going to try this but even though you make it look easy to do, I can only pray!🙏
You'll be just fine, for your first one or two try the technique using a die with larger pieces to inlay to get the feel of it and then move on to a more detailed die. Also, if you're going to use the entire page like Natasha did, you can ink blend the cardstock before running it through your machine to make it easier 🙂
I am sure you will master this technique in no time & your cards will turn out beautiful 🙂💚
I agree completely with this comment, great advice. Just to get the hang of die cut inlay, use a die that has just few pieces to inlay. I should have/could have talked more about that in the video perhaps. Start off with something easier, because a background die like this one, is not the easiest one to start with if you've never tried before.
@@NatashaFooteCreative Your video is excellent and explained the technique perfectly. You can't be expected to remember every little thing with a technique and all the tips and tricks of them.
However, you can explain things much better than me. As a suggestion maybe a follow up video for beginners with this technique? 🙂💚
Natasha, I love the yellow and blue together , with the black and white sentiment and butterfly “stack”. Stacking the butterflies does give subtle dimension , which is nice . Your cheaper way looks as time consuming as the other . Both eye catching and attractive ! I am trying to soak in your creativity ! Love your videos ❣️❤️

I did try making two from one die cut and then just putting a black paper behind the outline only card but didn't like the way it looked. You show a much better way to handle it and I will do this from now on - thanks so much - love the two for one cards!

What did you do with all the little white petals when you die cut the background to put over all your coloured petals in your first card. Did they all fall out of the die. The first time only three fell out.
