That's a huge reason Atrocity Exhibition is the album it is. It may not have sold like some popular albums around that time but anyone who is even slightly in the music community knows how much passion & creativity went into it. Downward Spiral is one of my all time favorite Danny songs. There aren't a ton of songs that really convey the delirium and pain associated with forcing yourself thru withdrawal and all the horrific thoughts that accompany that experience
