I was very excited for this year's Max Power Reunion show due to the type of car that was displaying. Some of these creations hadn't been seen since the early 2000s. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I couldn't attend. However I found an hour gap to arrive, film and leave, so that is what I did. Unfortunately much of what was there was hidden by copyrighted music, so I did my best to film as much as possible in under an hour!

Definitely, they all buy a stock wee power car that looks the same. I like to put my own stamp on a car 👍 they were the best days back then

I actually miss the creativity and explosive styles of the late 90's - early 2000's. Probably why I still own a pro street styled 98 Isuzu Hombre S and a track ready 01' Celica GTS.
Still my favorite type of tuning so much creativity in the builds

I own the white s14a with the wierd double side exit exhaust. I loved the max power scene , its where I started out in the car world many years ago , so I built the silvia for the show and drove it over from Ireland, great weekend of nostalgia, thanks for the coverage mate 🙌

I grew up in this scene and genuinely miss it. I miss the variety of builds. I always went for the slightly more subtle stuff but had friends who went all out.

Kids these days won’t know that these cars used to be cool back then😂. Scissor doors, big subwoofer & speakers with custom housing, unique livery etc.

Oh my days the cars I've seen on this video brings back memories of when I used to order Max power magazines religiosily.Max power and Redline and fast ford was my favorites. Big up to you for showing me some blasts from the past

I miss this car scene it the US. Cars actually had personalities and were unique. People didn't bash people's car just because they didn't like the style. Wish today's car scene was like the old days.
Its crazy to think I use to have massive posters of some of these cars on my wall about 20 years ago.... and their still alive!! ❤

That green mk3 fiesta wide arch is awesome.
The amount of money people used to spend on relatively cheap cars back then was mad. Full leather interiors with as much I.C.E as possible, body kits and full resprays. I went to a Max Power event at the Birmingham NEC in 2001 and there were Saxo's and 106's that had around 40 grand spent on them 😂
Got to be honest though, maybe it's because I'm older now, but to me it makes a lot more sense to have a much better car (that doesn't need to be modified) than to buy a crappy car that needs a ton of money spent on it.

Nice body kit and sound system and not over the top so that it hurts the cars performance and a funky color.
I had more fun owning a delta kitted ferrari red calibra turbo in the early naughties that kept exploding every 50miles than every other "better" car since. No #ucks given was the most exciting scene ever. The whole cruise atmosphere went totally up its own arse not long after.

Just to clarify a lot of the cars you've said weren't around during the Max Power era were during that era, the magazine stopped in 2011.

I was born In 2001 so I missed the first run of max power but I have been into cars for as long as I can remember. My dad had a max power key ring on the keys of his Starlet GT Turbo and I remember asking him about it when I was about 5 or 6 and him telling me about the max power days. Now I’m 21 and have my own MR2. Not max power but a cool car none the less!

The blue car at 3:10 is the same kind of car D Ali G(Sacha Baron Cohen) drove in D Ali G Indahouse. In the movie the car was yellow with blue interior, the opposite of this one, which makes me wonder if the movie has something to do with the car.
