      The pistons are 20 over the rods are the same hight at stock I believe my block is a tall deck block so it has the longer connecting rodsBut I can’t remember off the top of my head

      @@NorthernPerformanceGroup I have a jetta gls 1996 2.0 8v everything is stock all original I want to make it turbo
      and I have not found so much information I am from Mexico
      It's a bit difficult for me to find original compression forged pistons and connecting rods.
      82.5mm and 10: 1 compression
      Any recommendation or opinion with your experience on this subject would be of great help thanks

    i don't understand old school,would of been cheaper to drop a 1.8t engine in there, map it and have 210whp with stock engine, do rods ect and shoot for 500

    • @NorthernPerformanceGroup
      @NorthernPerformanceGroup  Před 7 lety +1

      andrew wright aba can make 600 fairly easy if you know what you are doing and if I put a 16 valve head on it I can make 1000 but honestly I really don't care I love my little aba and I'm not a 1.8t fan I actually hate the motor

    • @andrewwright.
      @andrewwright. Před 7 lety

      2595cjp no problem mate. long as it is what YOU want that's the main thing. how much have you put into the engine so far?

    • @NorthernPerformanceGroup
      @NorthernPerformanceGroup  Před 7 lety +1

      andrew wright i couldn't honestly tell I replaced everything on the car and some stuff twice or more I probably had a total of $25,000 in the cars including everything eaven new part that have broken and 2 transmission and 6 cvshafts if I don't include all those problems with new parts braking I would have $18,000 total and in just mods around $13,000 that's all very rough estimate and probably on the high side

Using the stock Briggs and Stratton single cyl flatty built to make 2x stock power lol😂😂🤣 not even any boost! And it goes 0-40 faster than a stock 2.0...
