@@ItsTate It's interesting, I started to listen to hardstyle 1.5 years ago, and I feel like it's reversed, the old tracks have boring intros, same kicks all through, whereas the new tracks have interesting switchups, more kicks in the same intros. I guess different strokes for different folks.

Noisecontrollers pre-2015 was the shit. I still like what he does, kinda, but after all iconic and insanely good tracks and they made between 2007 and 2014, it's really hard to top that.
2008-2010 NC is truly the best form of Hardstyle imho. Not even talking about their solo projects which were just as good

Honestly I've been falling out of love for hardstyle lately, maybe because no festivals, maybe because the new sounds dont interest me, none give me goosebumps any more compared to past songs like fifo, scrap attack, melancholia, end of my existence, hearing this set turned back time for me when I was obsessed with hardstyle. Idk if it just me but I liked atmozfears more in his scantraxx days, wish he could go back to those sounds where I would get lost in the hard euphoric melodies rather then cheesy lines. Don't get me wrong, keep me awake and starting over are an exception there in my favourites lol, but these classic set sounds re ignite my love and remind me why I love hardstyle.
