I hope you rethink what you've said here because this man did actually have his leg amputated because of this illness. He wasn't milking it, it was serious.
@@angelapotter8084 The reason why I said he was milking it is because he was taking full advantage of the situation to gain sympathy from her. He wanted to get her alone to tell her this sad story. Whether the puppy part is real or not, which was what I was referring to as "milking it" that happened after the amputation part, it wasn't needed because that is still a method of attempting to gain pity in order to win the competition.
So he brought up that he needed an amputation even though he didn't actually get one? And said his grandma died like noone else has gone through that?
I was thinking the same thing! Like dude was bringing up every sad story under the sun as if the other guys don’t have the same experiences. I was done when he said “10 month old puppy” like WHERE DOES THAT COME INTO THE EQUATION?!

Two days ago his right leg was amputated. The show's portrayal of his medical issues is disrespectful.
They are not being disrespectful at all, she clearly says she thinks what he is going through is serious but the timing was manipulative. He didn't do himself any favors, but of course it's a serious situation and wasn't downplayed at all. Anyone can see this was manipulative, maybe if he had approached it differently it wouldn't of been seen like that
@@samireason7586 yes they are. Cam wanted to say it cuz its a serious thing and it should be known early on. Mike literally lied to hannah and said that Cam said "I'm gonna tell a sob story to hannah and get a pity rose". Thats not at all what cam said.
@@samireason7586 The producers edit everything to fit their dramatic narrative though. And cam was never shown saying that… if he had said that they would have included it for dramatic effect. They’re definitely being disrespectful. And it came across to Mike he was trying to get a pity rose by trying to grab her first to talk about something very serious cam said she might send him home for… trying to get a pity rose was Mike’s perception and perception alone. He put words in cams mouth and made it sound calculative and manipulative when it wasn’t, it was a serious matter…

The Bachelor needs to edit the title of this video, address this situation, and give Cam an apology. Mike should have Cam on his podcast to address this as well.
So in the name of transparency he shared with her that he has a serious chronic illness, that could some day result in amputation (and this past week DID). Since that would greatly impact any relationship, he wants to tell her up-front and worries she may send him home because of it. The producers portray it as him telling a sob story about the past, that's over and done with, throwing in extra pitiful details (which he probably told her so she could understand the full impact of his disease), for the sake of getting a pity rose. This conversation looks so different in hindsight. Shame on the producers.

The lack of empathy is absolutely astounding. This man went through recent surgery and his leg was amputated. He deserves a public apology because of the way this was portrayed and how no one from his season reached out to him either

No, the timing of him revealing that info. It was clear that he only told Hannah to tug at her heart strings for her to keep him from pure pity and sympathy, not from a genuine connection. He was emotionally gaslighting Hannah into staying in the house.

I no longer keep up with the franchise since Roses and Rose was canceled. I'm sure it was probably because of the Chris Hasen 2021 comments, nonetheless, I'm 32 years young. I've been watching the bachelor/bachelorette since I was 12 years old. It's just not the same anymore. 😞

I didn't watch this series cos I really do not like hannah b and so maybe i missed something the other commenters saw but I was thinking that this was a conversation that needed to be had early on. i find it so annoying when you get to the last 4 and one has a sob /shock story! i think she was really bitchy how she spoke to him and he got a lucky escape
