Buses at Shenton Way (Aft Capitol Tower), Singapore 2020

Maxson Goh Films various buses (mostly Express and City Direct) at Shenton Way after the Capitol Tower on a weekday evening. This is where most of the less common Express and City Direct buses come out , charging higher fares. Concession passes are also not accepted on these services.

Sbs City Direct Buses: MAN A22 E6, Citaros, Volvo B9TL WEG2, MAN A95
SMRT City Direct Buses: MAN A22 E5, ADL E500 E5, MAN A95(Not sure if they use Volvo B9TL or not)
I dont see KUBS or OC500LE deployed that often for some reason...
Also big question: Would our Express bus services still exist when the cross island line opens(assuming they do serve certain part of the city areas and far away places like north east to the west)

You mean Thomson East Coast Line? I assume some would still operate unless the bus route duplicates a lot of TEL route. But, knowing LTA and learning past changes due to DTL rationalisation, maybe they scrap them lor
Also, like the buses that go Marsiling, Canberra or anywhere near NSL and TEL would probably be gone since TEL goes Orchard etc. Moreover, if Circle Line 6 goes operational, I doubt they’ll keep the buses since u could just transfer between the MRT lines to get to the destination. Our CBD area is well intertwined with MRT lines except JRL and CRL. Imo its enough MRT lines to get to your destination within CBD area and with the help of normal buses if needed
