Well I’m fine with it, you should be punished by someone with high post control if you got no int defense. Drop step not going to work as well if you got int defense in your build
If the drop steppers are just beating people with no defense, or position skill, it’s the same as any other way to score.
It’s the same kind of cheese when people dribble left right all day until there’s nothing you can do about it and drive or shoot.
Post scoring cheese has never been respected

Drop stepping is a move that is unstoppable and broken to the game, me doing L2 cancel back and forth and jamal behind the back is stoppable.. Do better.

Yeah bro is being hypocritical I agree that the drop step is stupid ash I’ve lost to an 84 big who was just cheesing it but that momentum crossover in the paint into the dunk is just as annoying can’t complain about one and you cheesing in another way guards use that move in every game mode 1s 2s 3s and the rec as a guard it’s annoying guarding that shit every game bro I tried MyTeam clutchtime for the 1st time this year and a mf was in there using jerry west cheesing the move like 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I feel like that crossover is just as lame 🤷🏽♂️

Strength n interior defense and knowing how to play defense against a post scorer make them waste as much stamina as possible don’t left them get to the hoop super easy bump your mans by time he gets to the hoop he’ll have no stamina and the animation won’t play out as well

Drop stepping and 94 driving dunk are not even in the same category. Against 94 driving dunk if you jump early you consistently take people out of animations and if you stay in front of them they get a virtually ungreenable meter, it doesn’t matter if you have gold post move lockdown or you have a higher weight on a 7 footer, the 6,8 dropstepper will score every time with the Kobe glitch to get position for the standing dunk meter, and they are also a lockdown because they have no shooting or playmaking

So first hook shots needed to be patched, then it was it’s to hard to score in the paint they need to make it easier to score in the paint, then it was they need to patch steals, and now u want them to patch drop stepping. It sounds like every comp player wants games that are easy with no defensive resistance 😂

i think you are missing the point.. you can make POINT GUARDS / SHOOTING GUARDS that are doing this with a 1v1 matchmaking mode that is FILTERED by positions.. Not to even add that dropstepping is literally unguardable even if you have all the attributes that you need.
