Chilli Fish is Indo-Chinese recipe which is very popular in Indian restaurants. This recipe tastes sweet, sour and slightly hot. You can have this Fish Chilli Recipe as starter or serve it as main course.
Ingredients :
(Serves 4)
For Batter:
- 1 Egg
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 3 tbsp Corn Flour
- 3 tbsp All Purpose Flour
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper Powder
- 1 tsp Garlic Paste
- 1 tsp Ginger Paste
- 250 gms Fish
- Oil For Frying
For Cornflour Slurry:
-1 tbsp Cornflour & 1 tbsp Water
For Sauce:
-2 tbsp Soy Sauce
-1 tbsp Chilli Sauce
-1/2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
- 2-3 tbsp Oil
- 2 tbsp Garlic (minced)
- 1/2 tbsp Ginger (minced)
- 3 Green Chillies (slit)
- 2 Spring Onion White (chopped)
- 1 Green Capsicum (Chopped)
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper Powder
- Sauce
- 1/4 cup Water
- Cornflour Slurry
- Fried Fish
- Vinegar

@@shammidhingra6338 Plz don't use just about any fish. A flavorful fish like Salmon would not go well with this recipe. Use something like basa, any fish with neutral taste and soft texture should do.

I tried this recipe guys. Suggestion: dont add egg it will completely spoil the taste and texture of fish doesn't feel like eating fish and soy sauce quantity is too much. Add it as per your taste otherwise it will become so salty
These people mostly follow recipe from other sources like cookery shows, CZcams, books etc.Its not their original recipe.

You filled the pan with with the fish. Your suppose to cook it in little batches.
