Something I've been trying to figure out, and I'd be really appreciative if you responded to this, but can you do this set up on an adjustable shackle?
Very cool, but I would run each strand to its own side after you center it on the buckle to avoid that very much unwanted chaffing of melted cord.
Do you have a video of doing the original way where you melt the cords?

What is the cutter you’re using at the end? Looks better than just using scissors.

Those are some bandage scissors I got out of a first aid kit, they're not that sharp though.

You can definitely use this for the trilobite. You can just take the midpoint of the weaving strand and start it behind the core and do the trilobite pattern. It's kinda hard to explain here, but I hope that makes sense.
I think this is really cool but what do you do with it? What kind of weave?
You can tie any number of weaves over the contained core like the fishtail, cobra knot, but you can adapt almost any pattern for this core.
Could you make some full size paracord nungchucks with a wood core
I would like to at some point in the future, but I will have to find where to buy the wood cores as I don't have the means to make my own.

@@TheWeaversofEternity Thanks for the reply. I thought that much but I can't figure out where to cut and melt them because there are 2 long cords on each side at the end. I hope you see what I mean. It's not like the single hitch where there is a short and a long strand and you then join.
