One thing I've learned about being a Mexican in America, record everything, listen to the officer, and note EVERY SINGLE THING THEY DO. Does not only have to apply to cops. Most of the time people will dig their own hole, corrupt law enforcement especially.

As someone who use to work at the 99cent store during the high times of covid, retrieving the carts was one of our duties and I did not mind at all because not only was I getting paid to do it but it gave me time to get some fresh air w/ my coworkers. In fact we made it fun and decided whoever got the most carts in wouldn't have to mop that night LOL. My overall point was I wasn't inconvenienced or bothered at all unless a customer deliberately took the cart all the way across the parking lot to a whole different store location or tossed it on the ground especially during covid-19 my pet peeve was disgusting mask left behind inside the cart. All in all this girl was a princess compared to how others have treated our carts..
the issue isn't that it's an inconvenience imo but rather they have a habit to roll away and can end up damaging other peoples cars and stuff

That guy is great. After having my car damaged by a stray cart during high wind I love him. They don’t put the cart holders outside of Walmart or any store for no reason. They are there for people to put their carts there after they are done with it and the people getting paid for collecting them get paid for taking the carts into the entrance of the store and people flinging them everywhere is an inconvenience for those people. Just return your cart after you use it. It makes life a lot easier.
