Amazing how I discovered this song! Story time not much to it though haha but yeah recently I’ve built a habit of falling asleep with my earbuds in listening to music. I tend to wake up every night at some point because ear buds fell out or just because random haha but yeah I woke up one night and her the beautiful sounds of this song and instantly fell in love with it. I have added it to my relaxing playlist that I fall asleep to along with other songs that have the same vibe and relaxation as this song but this song. Man this song hits soooo much more different and one of the sad things about this is that when you come across a song as great as this you go out on a search for more songs that mimic the sounds and vibe of a song like this but the reality of it is that you’ll never find another song similar knor does the artist tend to create another song similar or following the same tone and vibe like this one but it’s ok because this song will forever be unique in its own ways. Our generation is stuck behind screens. We have films and video games which have taken up time that would usually be spent with others, doing stuff like this.
You don't have to do exactly what these people did to have a life. To me, that's the point. We are all on the pale blue dot and we are bound be a wonderfully interwoven fabric of narratives, cultures, and beliefs. But if you feel disconnected, you really should seek change. That can come from anywhere, often the most simple elements of life. Go camping with some friends. Go see some live music. Dance. Meditate. You are alive, right?
