@@BCG_420 imo it’s because Sean boxes and waits for his openings so the wild punches don’t throw him off so much. Unlike others such as Izzy for instance who looks for immediate counters. It’s a lot harder to counter an awkward punch you don’t see coming especially if you bite on a fake.

Izzy has terrible defensive habits like backing up to the cage in basically every fight (plus turning his back repeatedly against DDP for whatever reason) and Whittaker is a little bit chinny. Sean making it to the final bell against DDP isn't at all surprising
