    Great vid. Watching those two Cromptons with people stood near by, Heath and Safety would have a fit now! Open Days from the 80's were great.

    That Shell wagon (TOPS Code PXV, number SUKO50000) at around the 1:50 mark is a training vehicle for staff handling LPG wagons.

      There were a lot of specialist wagons on display there that day and subsequent open days. I know because I put them together and begged stole and borrowed from everywhere to get them ! We tried to make it as varied as possible of course back then we had the Speedlink network to rely on to get the vehicles from all over the country. You could not do it now.
