- BEST Exercise To Release Vocal Tension | Avoid Vocal Cord Strain! // Hi Singers! Do you feel tightness, heaviness, a tickle or even pain in your throat when you're singing? That's vocal tension, aka vocal strain! We want to avoid singing with tension as much as we can to keep the voice healthy and not end up with vocal damage. The exercise that I'm showing you in this video is hands down the best vocal exercise to release tension when singing! You will finally learn how to sing without pushing and pain and how t sing without straining your voice!

This exercise really worked for my singing, but I was really struggling with jaw tension throughout the exercise, and I didn't really manage to relax it, any tips to negate that?
