Lising those final 3 pound from an already lean extremely fit fighter makes a huge difference....but haney still took the fight and that's on him and his team but to say 3 pounds is nothing is silly.
It's the struggle, dehydration lack of food saunas, whatever else you gotta do to lose 3 pounds at that level that makes the difference

He didn't even try to make the weight. Yeah he was 3lbs over, but he was also wearing joggers, shoes & holding a beer bottle full of liquid..... that's 1.5-2lbs that he could have taken off instantly. He didn't want the belt, just wanted to hurt Haney (and succeeded).
That's what's bizarre, almost pointless about catching weight when they go on the scales wearing whatever articles of clothing when in actual fact they should be both wearing 1 pair of shorts and nothing else. Am I missing something?
