The trainees did a great job but nothing is like the original! I know The Pledis boys are hard to make the high notes (SVT and Nu’est). BS&T Must has been hard too. The trainees still did great though even if some of their voices weren’t that stable
In the end the idols probably had more time to prepare for their comebacks plus the songs where actually made thinking of their vocal abilities while the pdx101 trainees just had to do their best to get those high notes. My respect especially goes to Hyeop who was dealing with those high notes especially well in my opinion since it really isn't easy to pull those notes off like Seungkwan does. Pledis main vocalists really are on a different level...

I don't mean this to be a hate comment but these trainess are obviously not that great to begin with. I honestly think all of the trainees are weak. The first season had better vocalist. So far I haven't been impressed by a single of them.
I agree that there are a lot of better singers than BTS. BUT that goes without saying that their level of charisma and confidence is very much unique, they each have their own set of vibe. I have seen kpop stars try to pull that off on stage but for some reason it either seems too played off or comes across as arrogant. You cant just mimic what they pull off on stage, that raw n natural vibe. That's just the outer uniqueness, dont get me started on their level of intellect and expression of social impact...that's what really sets them apart of the typical and constructed kpop industry
DK and Seungkwan's Highnote is indeed difficult to reach. That's why so many trainees tried and keep trying to avoid Seventeen's songs especially title tracks because it requires quality vocals and quality dance. But see the idols who admires Seventeen and practiced to their songs, like the group Golden Child who had Seventeen songs in their training days.
For trainees that covered really hard song they did really well. Baekho has incredibly high notes that not many debuted idols can hit so it’s impressive they did it without too much instability. They also covered songs with a lot of intense choreography so the fact they were able to pull it off and hit their notes says a lot about how hard working and talented they are.
This only proves that Pledis should fckn take care of their idols coz THEY ARE IT! The fact is Baekho has such a range and the two monster vocals in Seventeen CANNOT chill and eat records for breakfast lunch & dinner
Really appreciate that they did their best to cover BST. I guess it's not the way they sang it that it wasn't a good cover but because they lacked the 'charisma' behind blood, sweat and tears. When others cover BST it's either too sultry or too cringy. This cover is by far the best one I've seen. On this battle I like 'No more dream' team more tho. By the way, I really really like the group that did 'BOSS'. They did it well.
The ones singing blood sweat and tears sang well but it just wasn’t the same atmosphere/feeling. It’s probably the nerves from being trainees, but they just need to develop more confidence on stage so that their voices come out more powerful with deeper emotions/feels.
No more dream high note was the hardest one here due to it being after the most intense choreo. The cover wasn't as sustained or clear but it was excellent for a trainee. Clap was 2nd highest and that was done incredibly well, almost perfect although you can tell there is a difference in experience. Blood sweat and tears cover was beautiful, maybe 3rd or 4th hardest note. Just need some more refinement and a bit more control and stability.
Pledis artist😌 Pledis idol vocals are really amazing, and it's very difficult, even other idols find it difficult to do high notes Pledis idols, let alone trainees, they've worked hard. ✨

I don't know why people said Moon Hyunbin did great, he's better in his group but still bad. How the coin flipped and "No More Dream" team won when only one trainee knew the song. Everything is great tho esp Seungwoo. His voice is just too good. I was stanning Yuvin hard at the beginning because of his vocal but Seungwoo is just on different level, the control. Also great leader material. He needs to re-debut.

DK and Seungkwan's Highnote is indeed difficult to reach. That's why so many trainees tried and keep trying to avoid Seventeen's songs especially title tracks because it requires quality vocals and quality dance.
But see the idols who admires Seventeen and practiced to their songs, like the group Golden Child who had Seventeen songs in their training days.

Bts have such amazing and different vocals! Their songs must be hard to cover, props to them ;)
For trainees that covered really hard song they did really well. Baekho has incredibly high notes that not many debuted idols can hit so it’s impressive they did it without too much instability. They also covered songs with a lot of intense choreography so the fact they were able to pull it off and hit their notes says a lot about how hard working and talented they are.
This only proves that Pledis should fckn take care of their idols coz THEY ARE IT! The fact is Baekho has such a range and the two monster vocals in Seventeen CANNOT chill and eat records for breakfast lunch & dinner

Really appreciate that they did their best to cover BST. I guess it's not the way they sang it that it wasn't a good cover but because they lacked the 'charisma' behind blood, sweat and tears. When others cover BST it's either too sultry or too cringy. This cover is by far the best one I've seen. On this battle I like 'No more dream' team more tho.
By the way, I really really like the group that did 'BOSS'. They did it well.

The ones singing blood sweat and tears sang well but it just wasn’t the same atmosphere/feeling. It’s probably the nerves from being trainees, but they just need to develop more confidence on stage so that their voices come out more powerful with deeper emotions/feels.
No more dream high note was the hardest one here due to it being after the most intense choreo. The cover wasn't as sustained or clear but it was excellent for a trainee. Clap was 2nd highest and that was done incredibly well, almost perfect although you can tell there is a difference in experience. Blood sweat and tears cover was beautiful, maybe 3rd or 4th hardest note. Just need some more refinement and a bit more control and stability.

Imma say that BTS's blood sweat and tears sounds too funny, no feeling just singing. hahahahaha you cannot convince me otherwise. I don't know why people said Moon Hyunbin did great, he's better in his group but still bad. How the coin flipped and "No More Dream" team won when only one trainee knew the song.
Everything is great tho esp Seungwoo. His voice is just too good. I was stanning Yuvin hard at the beginning because of his vocal but Seungwoo is just on different level, the control. Also great leader material. He needs to re-debut.
