  • BIKESYSTEM : BUILD YOUR BIKE
    FOCUS ATLAS 6.7
Whether bad weather, demanding surface, steep climbs or long distances - the fast and comfortable gravel bike offers full control and comfort thanks to wide handlebars with flare and disc brakes. The clean cockpit with cable routing from the handlebar directly into the headset avoids any hustle when installing a handlebar bag. To climb every mountain even with equipment, the Shimano GRX gravel groupset comes with a pleasant transmission ratio for everyone.
The ATLAS comes with 700c tyres, but is 650b-ready and can take tyre widths up to 47 mm. Therefore, you have plenty of opportunities to spec your ATLAS appropriate to your next adventure. Furthermore, the Road Boost technology provides high stability due to better spoke tension and bigger tyre clearance while still having short chainstays. No matter the objective, the ATLAS fully supports your ride - even to the end of the world
Three bottle cages can be mounted: On the seat tube, above the down tube and underneath the down tube. The position of the bottle cage above the down tube can be adjusted to fit a frame bag. Additionally, the ATLAS can be equipped with various features thanks to many mounting options on the aluminium frame and carbon fork. The mounting points on the fork can take 3 kg each side.

Ride the Atlas 6.7. Changed the inner bearing (Hollowtech 2, BB RS500 BSA/68mm) to a new set that should have the same size (Hollowtech 2, BB RS501 BSA/68mm). Since then, the whole crankset seems to be shifted to the right, resulting in a damn unstraight chain and related noises. Strange thin is that I read about spacers for Hollowtech 2 with either one or even three needed specers for BS768mm. But there was no spacer on my bike (and it ran well).
    What am I missing?

sure diskbrakes would work well with wider tyres like those of gravel bikes, mtb and cx .. no problem with skidding .. but obviously not so when it comes to skinny roadbike tyres specially when cornering and descending at high speed .. need convincing? ask valverde and roglic .. lol !!

Hi! I'm looking at getting either an Atlas 6.7 or 6.8 for my wife. Here in Australia, the 6.8 is around $700 more. Interested to know your thoughts/feedback. For the amount of riding we're doing, my gut feeling is the 6.7 would be fine. Thanks.
