    I've seen some people use a soft blanket or a folded over towel under the mold when pouring to prevent the flat spots on the finished result. Silicone must be thinner on the larger molds so more flexible.

      Hii! I do have a bit of frosting on some of the candles but the only things i do is make sure the thermostat is set to room temperature throughout making and curing so consistent temperature and mix the wax slowly, i also mix my waxes. A bit of paraffin in both my waxes. Frosting is very normal in soy wax especially ones with dyes. I would suggest you play around with uv inhibitor if your frosting is really bad. Hope that helps ☺️☺️

      Are you using tart wax? Sounds like one of two issues:
      1. You’re using container/jar wax instead of tart wax
      2. If you are using tart wax then you’re pouring when the temperature is too hot

      You can ask for trade secrets I honestly do not mind. And yes i recommend parasoy blends for molds/pillars/tarts. I worked with GW 464 and i hate the wax because its very temperamental. Lots of people had luck with it i wasnt one. IGI 4625 is great on its own i would mix it with 464. Try Nature’s Garden Pillar of Bliss wax and Flaming Candle problend 650 volative and tart wax those are reallllllllyyyy good for molds i use them both currently. If you are trying to stay mainly soy I unfortunately cannot help i tried and it didnt work for me so i went with parasoy

    • @JusNik
      @JusNik  Před 2 lety

      Hi hun
      I have never encountered transparent candle before. I know crystallization can make it lose its luster and color but not become entirely transparent. If you mean the colors look very light almost non existent then add more dye. I use dye chips and mica powder in mine.
      A hole where the wick is or opposite to where it is. You might also want to check your mold for anything that could be causing the hole. Or indent.

    • @JusNik
