Life Through Our Viewfinder was launched in 2009 at Dalton House Day Care Centre. The book is a collection of stories from a group that came together over the pervious year and contains stories about life in the past, the cobbler’s work, the doctor’s arrival, milling, threshing and many more interesting tales; stories filled with incidents and humour.
The book also contains photographs many of which feature in this video but their relevance is contained in the book which may still be available through Dalton House Day-care Centre in Gowran. This story is Accident Prone by Jim Lanigan.

Beautifully spoken, my mother was born in Rathmore Goslingtown in county Kilkenny , we visited twice in the 1960’s, god bless her and my uncles aunts, and grand parents RIP .
