EDIT: Respawning the train fixed it somehow, but the train still won't move even after doing anything, does it only work on metrostroi maps?
Some maps will not work, you also need to ensure you have everything set up correctly on the server. I recommend joining someone elses server as that'll already be set up correctly, and they can offer help if you need.
do you know why the monitor often doesn't show up anything like it was blank even when there's battery and electricity activated?
Do you have the right number of carriages? Eg set of 3, set of 6?
@@AzzaFortysix ah, so it has to be in pair of 3 or six? I only go for default 2 wagons
@@youcanpunchmeintheface Yes, if it is a random number then the power will fail
there's videos of how to drive metro trains in metrostroi, but there aren't any videos on how to prevent major errors occuring when using metrostroi (i.e. tracks failing to load, trains not working as intended, you get the point.), and i want a video on how to prevent major errors occuring when using metrostroi.

are there any good servers to run on? im struggling to find any server that isn't either 4000 ping or untextured.. maybe a US server??
No, I'm in Australia and all the servers are extremely high ping for me as well, seems like they're all hosted in Russia? I'd recommend hosting a local server and then you will have no ping and you can do whatever you want, that's how I play
Wait um also the air breaks randomly turn on too at certain points of the map even when its a green light

Extra but I don't have the link. You can just search for metro maps on Steam workshop, there's tons

@@Its_N_21 It requires very powerful 1 code performance, runs bad due to the way Garry's mod is made. I'd recommend playing on a public server as then it's running on another computer and will be much less laggy

Won't work unless you turn off "require third rail" option in the Q>properties menu

I have a small problem, I have on the screen 2 red alerts and no matter what I do the air brakes are always applied

The wheels fly like crazy. Why? I spawn the train and the wheels are glitching so much and flying everywhere.
If you move your mouse when you click the train, it will move and "fly everywhere", try standing completely still until it's fully spawned

W doesnt move my train how do i bind it
It's default key built into the game. You must ensure the train is completely started and ready to go. Pressing "W" after getting in to the train does nothing unless it's set up correctly.

They update the game often which can break things / change how they work, are you spawning a 3 car set? Do they have power (connected to third rail?)
@@AzzaFortysix I am spawning a 2 car set or 3 car set... First tried whit 3... Then 2... Then 1... Nothing... They have power and connected
@@csanadszoverfi5452 You MUST spawn either 3 car or 6 car set, anything else will NOT work. Try spawn it at a station and not a depot. Press Shift + 0 as soon as you get in the seat, before you do anything else.

Sounds like you're either missing some add-ons or have one that's broken
