'Do you think it's worth the £7,000?' Are you kidding....What a beautiful watch, look at the details, the looks, the quality. At this price point one will struggle to get hold of a standard Rolex submariner. I know that you're a Rolex fan but with all due respect this is a much nicer watch.

Omega are a watch brand for the enthusiast. 6969 ensures most serious enthusiasts can get this watch. 1969 is for the wealthy, and you can pick up the rarer gold 50th speedy. I think they made the right move here. Looking after their community. Investors can go for the gold or platinum 321
Agreed. I was a little disappointed when he said he preferred it being limited to 1969.
Agreed , especially if you take into account that every year around 80million people are added to the world's population. The 6969 actually is much lesser by proportion to 1969 10yrs ago.

In my opinion if someone is a watch collector and if he's into speedmaster then this watch should be in his collection, i think Omega did a really good job with this watch.
I typically hate limited edition pieces, especially from Omega, but this one is amazing. Great acquisition.

Now that is definitely a beautiful 50th Anniversary Moonwatch. I love the new bracelet. I bought 2018 Speedmaster Pro and you're right about the big box. It's cumbersome and all the extra accessories it came is a nice touch but everything stayed in the box and the box is stored in my closet. After seeing your video I wouldn't mind getting my hands on the 50th Anniversary Moonwatch. Thank you.
Now this is a serious watch, love the grey dial against the gold highlights, and like you I don't usually like gold.

Didn't get my order for this watch placed in time which was a shame, but I did get to try it on at an Omega event and it is absolutely gorgeous, but I have to say that it looks better on the bracelet rather than the velcro strap, but that is personal taste. Congratulations and wear in good health.

Such a beautiful watch, a truly remarkable piece. Also the plastic thing that is holding the watch is called the lunar module xd, great video keep it up💪🏻
I love the applied logo, applied hour markers, ceramic bezel all while keeping the traditional shape and dimensions of the Speedmaster. Though the simple retro-vibe of the normal hesalite speedmaster professional is still something I would prefer to wear day-to-day. I just wish the regular production Speedmaster would get a brushed version of this bracelet.
Even though my AD is closed, they still sold me this watch yesterday after Omega told them they had one more to allocate to them (my AD only received one all of last year). It's being shipped directly to me this week. ;) Can't wait!

Sorry to be pedantic, but it wasn't a shuttle that landed on the moon. The shuttles were a totally different recoverable craft. It was the lunar landing module that made the descent to the surface of the moon. Beautiful watch by the way. I'm still happy with my original Speedie.

That's a lovely watch, great presentation and I feel that compared to other brands and that it's a limited edition run, and currently the upgraded movement compared to other moon watches that the price is a bit of a steal, ofc it is only an update and if you want a watch that went to the moon you need to look at vintage pieces, if I were in a different financial position right now I'd have picked one of these up no question
