This was a great time! I enjoyed the show and I enjoyed hanging out!
Those Storelock industrial cabinets look amazing. That is an heirloom tool for sure.
Too bad I couldn't join y'all this year!! Maybe next year. Tractor Hard! 🚜💪!
Joined from Petes Peak
Lots of neat stuff to see! Thanks for taking us along!
My father actually sold a small Italian tractor that articulated back in the late 1960s or early 70s. It was called CAST, no cab, but the operator’s platform pivoted also. The CAST tractors were designed for vineyards primarily, although his customer was maybe a contractor. His dealership was about an hour south of St. Louis, and the distributor for the CAST tractor was called Rio Distributing. Dad also sold sold Deutz farm tractors with the Deutz air cooled diesel engines. He was primarily a Massey dealer but he sold a few Satoh tractors also, which later became Mitsubishi. Thanks for the farm show tour!
Very cool story. Thanks for sharing that history.
Swivel cab?!!! That would be fantastic, especially if you could lock it in sideways. I do a lot of tractor work sitting side saddle so I can watch the front and back without much trouble. Slowly, of course! 😊
I enjoyed the tour of the show. Looks like a guy would be temped to spend lots of money lol! I bought a kioti DK 4510 at S&H in Joplin Mo in 2023 but was a new 2022 model in a crate they put it together for me and run it on a Dino to make sure it was ready to go. Payed 25500. The new models were going to be around 28000. I did my home work this tractor looking at kioti kubota and Deere and for the money I am so happy with this kioti. I just bought a kioti grapple like the one you looked at the show I can’t wait to get out and use it thanks again for the tour Doug
Good update.
The kioti is the best bang for the buck tractor. I have a 2019 dk5510hs that i bought used one year old with 140hours and 5 years of warranty left. I bought it pre covid for 18k. I would trade it for a deere or kubota because the value and resell on my kioti cannot be out done by deere or kubota
Looking at my Kubota MX5200, the loader masts are supported by a frame going to the back like the Kioti.
That’s a feature I first noticed on kioti, and I’ve been looking for it as I look at other tractors now
I think it should be a standard design
We use Ibex farm equipment, love making my own hay. 2x2, 50 pounds each.

Great video, I enjoy the channel . Keep up the good work.
I have to say I always had a quite different take on those loader support brackets.
I always understood or was under the beliefs that Deere compacts didn’t use nor need that crude belly frame support for their loaders because they designed much stronger frame, where the cheaper competitors models use them because their chassis or frames can’t handle the stress of loader work without them.
I guess I never saw those on a tractor and felt like wow that’s a plus over a Deere which I felt didn’t have them because it didn’t need them.
I have no expertise. I’m just a guy saying what he sees.
Also, i’ve seen a lot of guys have their loader bolts break on a John Deere compact. Happened to me
I actually think the reason John Deere doesn’t have a frame that goes back like that is because they usually have lower lift capacities on their machines.
I could also be completely wrong
We have a kioti ck 30 hp we've bet the crap out of it its like a 2002 maybe has 4000 hours on it we love it would definitely buy a nother one maybe the 40 hp one just for moe lift
Thanks for sharing
also may check out small farm inovations they are out of texas
I’ve been talking to him. Actually met him at the Tulsa Farm show this year.
Looks like fun Brock. I haven't been to a farm show for years but it's on my to do list. I'm curious if Mahindra was there? You showed so many brands but I don't recall seeing them. That's one of the brands I looked at because their pricing is/was attractive but their long term reviews always seemed a bit sketchy. Decided to stay with John Deere. I also owned a Kubota years ago and it was a good tractor.
Hi my name is Mark ostrowski
Thanks for watching
If you can afford it get a good Tedder and it is worth the extra money for a Tedder and you can get the hay up faster I would also get an older but bigger tractor just skip the sickle bar mower and get an old drum mower or disk mower
i was there friday , big crowd , the deal i did not like about kioti the loader does not have one handle to disconnect the hydralics
It gets busier each day. Wednesday is slow. Single point hydraulics are rare on a compact
might check out tractor tool direct , tar river is a chinse company , heard getting to get and tar river is cheap made
Agreed. Small farm innovations has a Japanese version. That might be better.
Deere just keeps falling further behind the competition. I can't understand brand loyalty for it anymore.
Where's Mahindra?
I’m sure they were there but in two days of walking I don’t remember ever seeing them. That’s how big the show is
Actually, I think I remember the part of the building they are normally in and I just didn’t make it over there
Understood.
You missed a big announcement opportunity. The Mitsubishi engine, TTWT did a report on it.
My 1640 from years ago has the Mitsubishi engine, it's awesome. But now it's all Mahindra. I feel it's kinda big news in the tractor manufacturing industry. It's just my opinion 🤷🏻♂️.
Thanks Brock. Hope all is well sir!
@anthonyg6924 I need to go watch that video
I actually saw his title and thumbnail and decided I probably wouldn’t cover a topic that I found out about because I saw it on his channel
Not that I wouldn’t binge it at all, but probably not a standalone video the same week. I talked to Tim for probably an hour at the show. I have a lot of respect for him
Third
Where do you really want to take your channel? Is any plan out there?
