Hard plastic dashes don't crack, split or delaminate. My 2013 Sienna has 110k miles and the dash looks like new. Nothing rattles or creaks. The lack of a timing belt, it uses a chain, eliminates a huge maintenance expense.
I agree with the hard plastic comments... but a major plus and the hard plastic is much easier to clean and maintain. When you have kids and all their activities plus your own outdoor endeavors and hobbies, it really comes in handy
I have the 2003 sienna (of cours I got it because I had 2 kids) and it very nice it doesn't have the hard plastic it has quality leather sides and leather seats had it for 10 years its still running strong
actually the 3rd row folding seats are just ONE step pull that handle back and the headrests will fold down, the seat will come up and all will fold neatly into the cargo well, that is why that handle says 1 you need to read those directions more carefully the 2 step process is for putting the seats back up . 1 step to fold down, 2 step to bring up. ( I know because have that model of sienna)
That 8th seat looks a LOT smaller than the one in our 2009. Kind of a step backwards if you ask me. The only reason we bought the Toyota 2009 was because of the large middle row seats (all 3). Would waste money on this. It looks like Honda has the better seating in 2013
I have this van in white. so SO much space for a big family of 8 or less. I didnt really think to much into the plastic design. but be warned. the chairs are bright and kids will eventually stain them. thats a given :D
I have owned both generations of Toyota Sienna. The current model looks fantastic, far better than the Honda Odyssey and other rivals. The build quality of the current model is way, way inferior to the previous model. An owner stepping from a 2005-2010 Sienna to a 2013/14, will notice a HUGE difference in the interior quality. Hard plastics and very cheap materials abound everywhere, but to me, the newer design more than compensates.
The sienna is very nice but found it odd that Toyota didnt make the guages backlit in the daytime all across the board and sadly i agree about the interior they can do better
I like sienna and its my car. The 2013 version. Well, The backlights seem to be a mitsubishi montero's backlights. What are your thoughts? (Montero Sport SUV one)
I am partial to toyotas but, I don't understand how people can say this current generation sienna is ugly and th dodge caravan looks better. I mean for crying out loud the caravan has a boxy shape and its ugly if ask me and this sienna will outlast any pitiful mopar product. There are two current good looking vans if you ask me and thats this and odysey or however you spell it.
What a cheap and ugly interior design, outside is ok. Odyssey is opposite: Ok inside but weird outside, looks like big iron. I don’t know what to buy now. I just dream that one day Honda will bring original Japanese version Odyssey to US.
I dont really like the sienna folding the back seats are much easier on the odyssey and when driving it doesnt make much noise so sorry sienna but you are not the car for me D:
Now that's what I call ugly, I would rather buy a dodge grand caravan or a Chrysler town and country and one other thing Toyota is a complete waste of money, I would not waste my time even going to one of there dealerships
If you spend as much time in the shop with the Dodge and Chrysler as I did with my Dodge, you would change your tune. My new Dodge was in the shop after SIX miles. Not kidding. My Toyota Sienna was a great car. Deciding whether to buy another or go with the Ford Escape.

Your video is nice and comprehensive. Too bad is making me dizzy after watching.
BEST VAN.
I really don’t mind hard plastic dash if it doesn’t crack (like RXes are prone to do…).

I’m just curious. Why do you dislike hard plastic?
It has lots of power
they creak/rattle/crack more often than softer plastics and they feel cheaper
My mom has that car. Ima do a review on it as well
My dvd player’s screen is upside down how do I fix it?
Some people find it useful.
Why is hard plastic a bad thing?
It's not! Just his opinion, that's all.
You left out the sienna L, basic model
This Van is Grey
Does the back window go down
Where is the engine number of this van
how do you scroll down the antena?
It doesn't. It unscrews.

I priced the Toyota Sienna with options. Are you guys on crack?

Full Crossovers are stealing sales of the minivan

maybe it's just the camera making it sound funny

I like the exterior of the siena but like Oddysey interior better witch is why I own a oddysey
Yeah the engine does sound F up
Not true, you must be 8 years old.
That engine sounds fuck up

I like Toyota, but I think Toyota can do better design on the Dashboard. 2013 should be something else, All the Toyota's car has ugly interior.

ok then have fun paying for expensive gas
Vans suck.. Seddans are much better.
this van's interior is awful. it also looks used. and outdated. ICK!
Who cares about the plastic
